I mean...they *should* . They still need personnel to go in there and clean, replace mattresses/blankets, and bring in category 1's. They'd need a safety mechanism to allow people to do so without the chance of someone accidentally firing it off.

The whole place was clearly set up in a rush and they were focusing more on saving the budget than on making a safe environment for the patients, so I honestly doubt the fucking human ovens have a safety switch just in case someone gets stuck inside.

I can see how easy it is for them to not put 2 and 2 together right away. That kind of atrocity is going to spark denial first. "This can't be what it looks like. This just has to be like a very bad storage unit, yeah, that's it". We as audience members can put it together because it's not something we have to process the consequences of. Hell just look at the cognitive dissonance we see when major catastrophes strike close to home. Anyone that has ever lost a loved one may have more insight into that immediate denial of "No, no, I can't believe this is real. It has to be a mistake." and that's without being in a highly tense situation with a mission to complete. People WANT thins to be normal, and will often subconsciously push aside horrible revelations in favor of maintaining that normalcy, especially in increasingly abnormal situations that are pushing your mind to it's limit.

The terrible thing is that I can kinda see the logic in the oven camp plan, even if they obviously expand it way too far. I mean those people are functionally dead, they're just stuck being conscious. Can't just have "dead" bodies piling up on the floor and the street. Then again we don't know if even burning actually finishes someone off during the Miracle, or if they're somehow just conscious piles of ash afterwards...

I mean they probably were still conscious even as ash. It's like when we look at bacteria. it's so different from us as a life form yet it's still alive like we are. Kind of like that, I would imagine.

I realized it what those camps were doing when I first saw/heard about the chimneys. I don't remember if that was before or after the "ceramic" comment. I think you were meant to suspect what was going on, but just in case you didn't, they made it clear as day later on. Yeah, subtlety is highly lacking in this season...

BTW, in case anyone doesn't know: Twitch TV has been doing Torchwood marathons on Sundays. Tune in this Sunday (6/29) to watch Children of Earth (the entire series) and next Sunday for all of Miracle Day...

William Gionet And Lone Starr (Bill Pullman) and Dennis Nedry (Wayne Knight) and Killgrave (David Tennant) and a Terminator (Matt Smith) and Rabbit from Christopher Robin (Peter Capaldi) and Spider-Man and Captain Panaka and General Veers and the Bendu from Star Wars Rebels and Merrill from Dragon Age II (Eve Myles) and Malekith the Accursed and that one guy from The Dark Knight (Eric Roberts) and that one guy from The Dark Knight Rises (Burn Gorman) and Jiaying from Agents of SHIELD/Roulette from Supergirl and Nebula/Ruby Roundhouse and Cammy White from the Street Fighter Movie (Kylie Minogue). Of course, the only Arrowverse character on the list I just gave was Roulette.

Please continue the Sarah Jane reactions after this season. The Trickster episodes are SO amazing! And David Tennant has one of his greatest moments in it. (And "The Eternity Trap" is imo one of the spookier episode of the Whoniverse PERIOD.)

They are not going to watch anymore Sarah Jane (unless it is just a specific episode they are watching in order to postpone Doctor Who). They weren't that into it and admitted they would never watch it in their own time. It was also a bit hard for them to truly react to/discuss. Furthermore, they watch shows based on what wins the polls. In order for them to watch more Sarah Jane, it would have to be voted for on Patreon against so many other shows and anime...

I guess I'm hoping it would fill-in Torchwood's "Doctor Who Spin-off" slot. And damn it, if they watched Inhumans all the way through why not this one?

There are only two reasons why they watched ANY Sarah Jane at all: 1. For the mega-crossover in Doctor Who 2. To have something to fill the slot while they put off Torchwood so that it would align with Doctor Who They never watched it out of pure interest. They just did it because Aaron and Lono said, "Hey, it'd be cool if you guys did just a couple of episodes of this before the next season of Torchwood". They said themselves that they didn't feel the show was something they could react to in its entirety and that they don't feel a desire to watch more than just those few episodes. I would hate for them to have to watch something they don't care for (over the course of several months) just because other people wanted them to. SJA just isn't their thing. As this video shows, their reactions are much better when they're actually enjoying themselves rather than watching because they feel obligated to do so...

Shanes intro was cheekily good. Those incineration chambers this epi, and the kids in cages previous epi.. geez theyre not shying away from atrocity. Hopefully theyre not like the Simpsons predicting the next stage of rl future. Yikes.

I think revelations in tv show can be more shocking if you can easily guess what it is before it happens because then you know what the characters are going to be discovering.

I thought category 1 included a mortal wound, or somehow diagnosed as clinically dead under normal circumstances, as well as the unresponsive/brain dead. Like if the world were to turn back to normal, these people _would be_ dead.

ceramic walls, chimneys and literal giant flammable gas tanks hooked up to the outside of literally every wall and Mr CIA couldn't put it together despite roaming the compound for half the episode, why in tf did RTD have to go after s3, just so many facepalms this episode

The last good episode of this series. Once they got rid of Dr. Juarez the story went to shit. It stopped being speculative "what if this happened? and what would be the logical conclusions of this?" fiction and became bad bad bad science fiction
