Today we'll look at the Wasserstein 3-in-1 Floodlight, Charger and Mount. This is a great product that will help to cure the "Changing Battery Blues". If you have a Blink Outdoor, Blink XT, or Blink XT2 camera located in a high traffic area, you already know the battery life is terrible. Hopefully this will solve the problem of constantly changing batteries so you can get on with your life.
Please note the Blink camera is not included with this system, and the floodlight only works at night.

Can you do a video on how to setup this flood light for all its settings on the app? I'm having a difficult time on which settings to put it to. They don't stay on the settings I choose and revert back to factory settings.

I got this and yea definitely have to press pretty hard to pop it in on the back lol but I’m already worried for when I have to detach and pop it back out when I have to change battery lol . Have u tried detaching it ?

Hi Ki! Yes I've actually detached it a few times in testing. It just fits "really tight". LOL But you shouldn't need batteries at all. Once you connect it to power and plug in the cable, you should be set. Thanks again for the comment. Be safe out there.

@@TeachMe101 just saw the whole vid . Before I was jus searching for how to detach lol. I don’t think this will work coz I got my blink outdoor cam on Wasserstein no drill over the door mount coz I live in apartment and it’s well lit here so I wouldn’t need this. Is there any way to go no battery in my case ?

Will this flood light still work if you put on a protective case on the camera before installing it on the flood light itself?

That's a tough question. Maybe.... you may have to drill a hole in the back of the protective cover to insure the fit.

I installed the Wasserstein flood light for the blink camera with a hard plastic housing on the camera for weather protection. It works great and by screwing in the housing it eliminates the adapter piece and is more secure as it screws directly into the flood light itself. It's just extra protection from the outdoor elements. Hello from Canada! FYI

I bought this on amazon, but cannot connect to the App! The instructions say I am to turn the light "off and on" and then press the "reset button" - but I don't see an on-off switch OR a reset button on the light! Can someone please help?!? I can't find any videos that show exactly how to connect the app. A drawing or photo of the location of the on-off switch and reset button would also be helpful. Thank you!

Make sure you have bluetooth, wifi, and location on during setup.

It says in the app the floodlight is supposed to blink, and that there should be a reset button on it. It doesn't blink and I can't find a reset button

@@Icarus3030 I don't remember if there is a reset button. I would disconnect the power for about 2 minutes. And try it again.

@@TeachMe101 I finally got it to work by connecting to an outlet connected to a light switch. Had to turn it on and off exactly 3 times, slowly, until the lights blinked once, then the app recognized it! Finally! Spent over an hour trying to figure it out yesterday and was about to send it back to Amazon!
