Hoya aciculairs is definitely one of those weirdly beautiful hoyas - at least in my opinion - that give your collection a unique look. It is also a wonderful grower, but not an easy bloomer. Definitely one for nerves of steel if you are here only for the flowers. If you are here for weird plants, well, I guess this is right up your alley.

I have hoya acicularis. I have had it 6 mos. It is growing quite rapidly, and I love it. It gets light from grow lights and a South facing window. The room is warm, above 70F and humidity above 50%. A very interesting plant. Doing much better than the Stenophylla. But have only had that one since Feb. It is in a terrarium at this time. The acicularis was also in a terrarium for at least a month cause it kept yellowing and dropping leaves.

My acicularis is on the way from Planthaven Toronto. I also grow Retusa and insularis. I especially love insularis. Thank you Miro, could I possibly have such a big plant in 3 years? In Vermont. We shall see.

Hi, After just watching your video on Hoya of the week - Hoya acicularis I see that you noted some information on the fraterna magazine, after a google search, it seems that production has stopped done time back??? Is there anyway of obtaining information on this magazine?? Love your video’s and great info on Hoya’s. Hoping we will see something on your trip to Sweden Hoya show? Thank you ☺️

Yes, all issues of Fraterna (up to 2006 or so) are available online :) Try Biodiversity website. Sadly, KZfaq won't allow linsk in the comments, they are treated like spam. There will be videos from Sweden, no worries
