I like the way you pack your boxes Charlie. I still store my flute in the same box and paper Blue Bear Flutes shipped it in, lol! Works for me!

Back in the day (2005) I used to ship all my flutes in those white paper tubes with a small piece of bubble wrap on the ends of the flute so it fit tight in the tube. Probably used 1 Square foot of bubble wrap but those tubes aren't as cheap as they used to be. Shipped about 100 flutes like before my workshop burned down. I'm super careful with fire now and making flutes again thanks to you "reigniting" my passion.

I personally like the packaging of the flute you sent. I use that semi-shredded paper material you had there as a stuffing inside the flute bag. It works great to cushion the flutes from rubbing and bumping.. The flute arrived safely and perfectly fine as packaged 👍 still loving the flute and the bag.

Great timing for this video: just this past Jan 9th, I put in an order for a Googol Native American Flute. Very neat (and comforting) to have this great info on Blue Bear Flutes' packaging practices. I'm in New Brunswick, Canada, and I'm feeling pretty good about the upcoming journey of that flute. That aside, these videos are really awesome. What a great way of strengthening bonds/connections between the business and the customers, and between the customers and their flutes. Well, this sponge of mine tends to see everything as intertwingled, so these videos hit my interconnectedness sweet spot. Very good stuff.

The flute arrived today, and the packaging it very well done, exactly like in the video. Although I imagine some deliveries to Canada can vary wildly, here are the details for this one: January 30 USPS Picked up the item and it departed the Cottonwood Alabama Post office the same day; Feb 2 In transit to next facility; Feb 3 arrived at Jamaica NY International Distribution Center and processed through USPS Regional Facility; Feb 7 Customs Clearance in Canada, processed and held; Feb 10 Customs Clearance Processing Complete; Feb 11 arrived at "facility"; Feb 16 arrival at post office, out for delivery, and on my doorstep. Awesome !

I’ve heard people praise the paper packaging because it makes good compost filler. It’s a good choice!

Good advice. I try to reuse material I receive, tho i dont shop out often . The shipping peanuts, ugh, awful. Don't see those around much. I like the recycle paper Blue Bear uses.

We were using compostable shipping peanuts for a while. I do like them a great deal however their incredibly expensive and difficult to get ahold of! They are made out of corn.

I was very happy with the packaging with your flutes.💕 Plastic bubble wrap and dozens of feet of pillow packaging make me cringe! A recycle believer. I love & re-use the brown craft paper some shippers use to put in the bottom of my cockatiel cage and on counter tops when I do acrylic pour painting.

Regarding the latest flute amp, can I play music from my phone onto the ampflier If so, how is the sound quality in comparison to an actual mini boom box, such as a small jbl boombox?

To answer the first question, yes! It does have a Bluetooth system that allows you to play through the speaker as well as use the microphone and even a MicroSD card and USB slot to play backing tracks from. As for the second question, I've always had a difficult time comparing and contrasting anything that I have to someone else's because I feel like it will require me to put their product down. My suggestion is to buy mine and compare it to theirs yourself!

@@BlueBearFlutes thank you for the feedback. I'm shopping an amp for my NAF and considering getting your product. If this amp can get quite loud and has decent sound quality at least, then I'd definitely go with this one. That would be a good 2 for 1 deal to use as an amp for my flute as well as for bumping some music when I'm at the park, or at a party or something. Do you have any demos of how the echo sounds on the amp? You didn't show us here

@MineBlown Right. This is a video about packaging. I do like responding to people's questions on my KZfaq Channel however because it helps the algorithm along. Unfortunately the algorithm doesn't know the thousands of emails that we respond to regularly. Having said that, I have taught millions of people how to make the Native American flutes through my KZfaq Channel. I've also taught millions how to play them. You could certainly start on my channel if you like. It's probably the best place to find any demonstration videos of anything Native American flute. Eventually you will watch a video that will lead you back to my website. Of course if you have never searched (google/bing/yahoo/duckduck go) "how to make a Native American flute" or "the secret to Native American flutes" online before, you may have never seen me.
