Brad Best I agree 💗 and at 4:26 where she stops next to her dad and smiles at him for several seconds...almost like she "heard" his thoughts and wanted to reassure him that even though she's married now, he's not losing her. 🤗💕💖 Plus....it wasn't in _this_ clip, but in the movie, the night before her wedding, she's in her bedroom packing up her stuff & her dad comes in. She sweetly, but in a sad tone of voice, says she knows she can't stay, and that she is sad because she felt as if she was "supposed to turn in my key tomorrow", and started naming several items from her childhood that she is taking with her, like her old retainer (for her teeth before she got braces)...she said "I actually packed it all." She told him all of that, to let him know that even though she's leaving, she is still embracing her childhood & was glad that he was her dad. That scene, plus his "thoughts" we heard right before the ceremony began, and then her stopping to smile at him _after_ she was married, so as to reassure him that she was, in a sense, taking part of him with her and that he wasn't losing her. Such a beautiful moment. 💕🌼

This wedding was so beautiful!! Most weddings are all about how excited the bride is or how nervous the groom is, but we hardly ever hear how hard a wedding is for the parents of a married couple. The movie captured George Bank's emotions throughout the engagement and wedding very well, but with humor thrown in also to lighten the load.

"And something inside began to hurt." That line always gets me. Dont have a daughter, but someday I'm sure I'll feel the same way about my son. Like "how could it be, I was just giving him a bath a moment ago."

@Sandylion173 жыл бұрын
Yes omg yes I grew up watching this movie and cry every time I see this movie and always wished to be Annie she has a sweet voice nice body and is so young and beautiful the perfect little bride she reminds me of the top of a wedding cake
It's never really been about him hating Brian it's really just been about George struggling to accept that Annie is an adult and ready to start her own family. He has to let go which is terribly painful but ultimately accepting her leaving the nest fills his heart with joy and pride in the end to see his girl spread her wings and fly in the sky.

I think humans should just ditch concepts like dating, marriage, and pair bonding. I feel like this world would be a much better place without romance than it is with it. It does seem that nearly all fathers and brothers are hoping that their daughters and sisters never date or get married and remain single for the rest of their lives. Romantic relationships seem like a bad thing since there is a lot of dangers when it comes to them. The overprotective father/brother thing is proof that romantic relationships are a bad thing, and this world would be a much better place without them. If someday that the human race ditches the concept of romance and romantic relationships, and got rid of stuff like dating and marriage, fathers and brothers would be happy about it since they wouldn't ever have to worry about their daughters and sisters ever dating if that ever happened.
