Steve martin is what i picture my dad would have looked like when he got older. my dad passed away December 27, 2010 at the age of 46 due to a heart attack and stroke while shoveling. I wish I had had a relationship with my father like they show in this movie. Dad was always around but he was disinterested in his family (just like his dad was) and as such I grew up to dislike him. I couldn't turn to him for anything or count on him. As he got older his drinking got the best of him and he became an even angrier person. He died when he was 61 and I've yet to shed any tears.
