This is awesome, I’m looking for a cream vintage looking teardrop pickguard that’ll fit my Martin 000-16 Streetmaster. Do you make these and sell them?

I don't make the cream color but with the proper dye I am sure you can/ Look at stew mac and LMI see if they don't stock them

a teflon spray on the patterns before epoxy might help in releasing

John, What “wax” product did you use on the 3rd/last mold that peeled easily? And what were the dye products? Great video!!

about 3 oz

that made 3 pick guards. I use those small cups to mix the color into the resin then hardener then mix together. Start light and keep adding color. I just drop and swish.

Thanks for sharing this! Do you know if there is a long term shrinkage factor? I'm guessing nowhere near celluloid.

I find using the system 3SB112 no shrinkage on pick guard for 10 yrs

Just want to be clear - your moulds or patterns are just flat, right? You put a thin puddle of resin on them and it flows out flat enough to use without any further finishing?
