Not to long ago the tachometer on my 1979 BMW R100RT stopped indicating engine RPM's. Don't really know why the tach stopped working. This is the first thing I tried to see if I could bring the tach back to life. The process was to clean all the contact points in the wiring harness and instrument cluster to see if that would bring the tach back to life. Take a look to see my results....
