does the middle and the rear panel is shifted, can you see the gap is much smaller in the next section? The think is that the roof could be bended a-little, and if you adjust the front, it will start leaking from the back somewhere... Just be extremely caution, put the marks in case you need to revert everything back! Good Luck!

Sorry for the late response, can you determine where is the water coming from? In my case, the water was dripping from the corner where the sections are connected, and the two pieces obviously did not seat as they should from the factory.

Hey. for most cases, the rubber seal is the problem. First, make sure all the passages inside the seals is not clogged. get the flexible wire and try to fish it try the holes, you also can use the air pump, the same one you use to pump the tires, pop it in one end and plug the other end for a short period of time to see if you have a crack. The second is to inspect the rubber and see if you have a crack or some sort of banded connection in between the rubber seals. also, figure out the water passage, which shouldn't be hard, you can remove the liner, and keep it off, in that case, you will see everything in first-person view. I have the Video on how to remove the headliner on e93 but be pretty careful, those cars are really fragile when it comes to removing plastic parts. @@Makhnovets Thanks for your help :). and sorry for my late response this time. but i didn't notice you had post a reply. I just discovered due to bad weather the problem is still there. Last thing i did was making sure there was no junk in the passages which looked like it solved the issue. Anyhow, have to review it all over again :( as bad weather awaits us again!

Yes, compare left and the right lock, see which one is missing alighment.

Just make sure the rubber gasket or the water drain channel isn't clogged before you start with the repair. In my case, I had a visual gap, which obviously was saying that there was a problem. Use the air compressor the same one you use for the inflating tire, connect the cone socket and see if it's struggling to get the air true.

I could work, like I said, if you see that one section of the roof is miss aligned, that the way to go, but if the roof got a little bent, that be pretty tricky, if you ca find the repair manual for your car it will say exactly what is too big of a gap and what is normal.

Make sure you have good hydraulic fluid lvl, the pump located in the trunk where the spare wheel usually seats. you will see the min max marc on it. make sure it's at least on the middle. Also, make sure the hydraulic cylinders are not blocked with anything, two under the rear headliner, two in the trunk. Good Luck!

Did you the Lock from your old door? There a sensor which is integrated in the lock. Try to reset it with ISTA or INPA. Those are dummy sensors, it's easy to disconnect them, but pain to replace it. Does your car have soft closing doors?
