That Saint Catherine’s is really bad too. Looks like an afterthought, barely stocked. The charity shops on Falsgrave or down Eastborough are much better.

Life stands still for no one, same goes for high streets. We all know consumers habits have changed, the high street model has been broken now for some time. If you live in a work class city in the uk accept the change or move somewhere else. We are in a period where figuring out what the next evolution will be is still evolving.

It’s 2008 all over again I used to walk around after my heart operation in 2010 I need Altrincham do you know one of the most prosperous parts of Manchester I counted to 70 businesses and shops closed!

I have fond memories of Scarborough back in the eighties... It was a lively town, full of shops, bars and restaurants. And now it's clearly becoming a ghost town. I certainly wouldn't go back there today. So sad. 😢

I’m from Scarborough but have moved to Filey. Scarborough is awful now. It was lovely when I was younger but now it’s all charity shops and coffee shops. There was a time when the councillors were local businessmen and it was in their interest to keep Scarborough nice. Not any more unfortunately 😢
