HMNZS Aotearoa Arrival

3 жыл бұрынCome aboard the Royal New Zealand Navy's latest ship Aotearoa. Arriving brand new from South Korea we went out to welcome her arrival to New Zealand before being invited aboard to interview her Captain and find out more about her role.

@@TastyTarco doubt it.... We get defence cuts not defence spending... The rest of the world is gearing up for China while we are constantly cutting

No... The Australian LHDs are longer in length, wider in beam, and deeper in draft. Nearly the same with the Australian Supply AORs, she is shorter in length but wider in beam and deeper in draft... Without any doubt, HMNZS Aotearoa is the largest ship in the history of the RNZN to date....

Typical of New Zealand, it newest and biggest ship is totally unarmed!!!!! In fact it iis a floating bomb!!!

Do you normally expect tankers to carry armament? She carries small arms and 2x25mm autocannons and can be fitted with a CWIS if needed.
