Was just going to say this. I didn't like him when he was manager, loved to see him "get what's coming to him." Now I understand he had a role to play and he was the best at it. So many heals I didn't care for too, but now I love to see them talk about their time in professional wrestling.

He was a weasel. That was the point. He ran with the gimmick and it was genius. It's the same when HHH first called Owen Hart a nugget and the fans would chant "nugget, nugget!" 3:09 Heenan brings up a solid point here. Everyone needs to participate properly in order for the show to work for the fans. Both the heels AND the faces. If the Ultimate Warrior was not going to abide by his role, then neither Heenan nor any other heel he wrestled were obligated to abide by theirs. And yet Heenen did with the UW. Granted, I'm sure the money was a massive reason, and I can respect that and his honesty. But his desire for the fans to get a good show is very honorable. I don't know much about the Warrior, and of course he is gone now. But I would be interested to know what he thought of when it came to putting on a good show for the fans and how high on his list of priorities that was.

'The Brain' was and is the absolute G0AT! What's wrong with wrestling today is we don't have talent like Bobby Heenan to enjoy.

Couldn't you say the same thing about Goldberg? He didn't care about wrestling. He had 173 squash matches. He didn't care to learn the craft.

That wasn't Goldbergs fault. They booked him that way for the entire beginning of his wrestling career.

I was an avid fan back then. Half those wins must have been on dark shows, or completely fabricated.

He made a great point about how he could simply not sell if he'd wanted to (and make the Warrior look dumb), but he respected the fans too much.

Most didn't but to the Warriors credit he has said wrestling for him was nothing more than a job. His family was what he cared about. Not hanging out with the boys. A lot of talent didn't like that. And people didn't like warrior because they wanted a technical wrestler. They liked him for exactly what they saw in the ring. Doesn't mean Warrior was a great human being. But he had his reasons for how he was in the ring.
