Here is the breakdown of the apology: Bobby is saying that when he is nervous he starts bullying as a survival tactic. But then says he can't remember what he did, and that if he touched George it was for comedic purposes. Well didn't he just acknowledge that it was bullying? that he was trying to allieviate his own nervousness by bringing George down. And then he says that he didn't know George back then, but now he is a voice that people talk about, so he wants to apologize. To me it sounds like he was bullying because he was nervous, he choose George because he thought he was a nobody, but now that he has a audience and popularity Bobby wants to be friends to appease the fanbase George is building. "I love people. I love podcasting" really means "I want people to like me and i want to be able to be on your podcast". I think it is great that Bobby is so honest.

I love that they can be adults and still joke about a shitty situation. Imo I thought it was all good. If I wasn’t comfortable I’d tell you despite your celebrity status. That’s where I was lost fr. None of this even came out until George was labeled as thin skinned and has no sense of humor. Then the narrative changed which is really weird to me. I don’t think people seem to realize comedians perform about 6/7 days of the week, and probably %25 of the things aren’t funny or even possibly offensive and the audience dictates wether the joke is funny or not, so when Bobby is grabbing George and the audience (Logan, Mike) are dying laughing that tells Bobby to keep pushing the bit.
