@@haytch4313Doctors believe in books written by men. And those books are what they use to treat you. Do you not believe that George Washington existed? What proof do you have? A book? Many many different books? The logic of because it’s in a book it’s not reliable changes entire human history. Then NOTHING is real. All history before Camera were invented is a lie? I’m just trying to understand the logic of the book making it fake…

yo though if god know all about us, gave us freewill to believe what we want, but still knows every detail, if I knocked on his door shouldn't he already know me, and be able to judge on what he knows I chose to do right in my life if I just infact had a different but harmless belief system.

You don’t think Hitler had some good days? Some days where he was kind to someone. Donated do a charity or 2? Should God just judge him based on those days? God doesn’t work like that. It’s an over all process- And over all, we are sinners at heart. God is 100% JUSTICE. He can’t accept ANYTHING outside of that! He is too Holy and perfect. He HAS to be in order for us to even grasp a little of what’s right and what’s wrong. Yes God knows us. Inside and out, but that doesn’t constitute a RELATIONSHIP with Him. Knowing someone and having a relationship with someone are 2 totally different things. So if you knocked on his door, He would open it and say why would you want to come in my home but wouldn’t want to be in a relationship with me? Why would you want to spend eternity with someone you don’t believe in? Someone you didn’t think enough of to talk to , trust, respect and listen to? Why should I let you in my Home? I don’t know you like that. George gave a surface example of something much deeper.

I think it's crazy not to think God cares more about your progress in life in being a quality person than whether or not you believe he exists. Feels wrong to me. I don't think God is vain and self centered like that

Because that’s not how it is at all. It’s because Jesus is literally the only answer. Because of original sin, we don’t automatically go to Heaven. So, Jesus came down and paid the sacrifice for that, but we have to accept that sacrifice

@@Hippoking32 because their wrongdoings changed the very nature of our being. Original sin is the very reason why I don’t think we’ll ever get to meet aliens. I believe they probably exist, but they may have not committed original sin like we have. They would be very much more advanced, because they wouldn’t have war or greed or anything that makes our world so nasty. We’d corrupt them. That’s why if they exist, God probably forbids them of making contact with us. He probably lets them observe us as a warning to what happens if you fall from grace. This would explain why there’s so many ufo sightings, but we’ve never seen one come down and give a speech to us or anything like that. I realize I got very sidetracked with that comment, but this has been on my mind a lot lately

God gives us grace (help)to live the life he wants us to live But if you throw your ideas into it and wana do it your way and ignore the holy spirits help … well Gods now limited to what he can do cause your not wanting his help 🤷‍♂️

George, how do you know he’s not gonna go to heaven? It depends on God in Jesus what they say who goes in heaven so that means you could be wrong about saying he cannot go to heaven because it’s not his Lord to be loved even though he believes in him, he still got a chance to go

honestly, you bring up a valid point. But you don’t need to go to church at all to be a Christian. You’re called to be part of the church and part of the community of the church. It’s not a condition, but if you want to grow in your faith and disciple others you should actively go to church.

You should study Jesus and his life in the New Testament, it’s fascinating and his teachings have stood against the flow of time. Jesus moral guidances for life stand true today. He teaches love. Unless you think love is delusional

Right, because we’ve done such a good job and are headed in the right direction.. Addiction, depression, and mental illness are at an all time high. Politically we are more divisive and hateful than ever. Divorce rates are at an all time high, let alone even choosing marriage. Children are confused because we’ve taught them their identity is solely based in their sexuality. Young men are becoming lonelier and more isolated than ever before, choosing to not even work. Yeah.. I’d say “our way” is going pretty well.

Religion has been the cause for more deaths in history, I'm not saying we are doing good nowadays, there are so many more new problems in society right now and that's exactly what it's important to not base your life in the past, times change we need new solutions to new problems, use your brain and don't follow what was right thousands of years ago
