I got consistant 10 sec holds on my normal handstand and can pretty often get 30s+ holds if I focus. I'm still lacking shoulder mobility and have to work on making handstand more straight but it's my secondary goal as I'm workin on front lever.. It's nice to see you progressing keep it up.

Hi Tom, That twisting is because your handstand alignment (the straight line handstand) is just not good enough and you need more shoulder strength (the shrugging or floor pushing static strength I'm talking about here) to avoid the twisting. To get those shoulders stronger, I will recommend you to practice the static one arm handstand on the wall and trying to shift the body weight from one hand to the other (now that you have enough strength for that) and try to increase the time under tension. If you increase the amounts of seconds you can hold the one arm handstand on the wall you'll get the missing power on those shoulders. You'll see how good this for tackling the twisting issue. I've seen you shoulder line while doing handstand and I think if you work a bit more on that (shoulder mobility and flexibility) you will start twisting less. As your hips are a bit in a banana, this helps the body to twist. Balance is really good, but as in the case of Daniel Vadnal, his handstand line does not help him for the one arm handstand as in your case. But yes, I see more progress man.

Hey man, my handstand is getting decent, I have a very decent line and can hold it from 15-30 secs pretty consistently, I try to get it to 1mins holds before starting to work on OAHS and straight arm press, my workout generally of 10sets of max good hold with 2mins rest between followed by 2-3 sets of max hold against the wall, 4-6 times a week, will that be enough or I would need more specific training to get there?
