@leilsondias7568
@leilsondias7568 4 жыл бұрын
@@P3DJumboJet No, that´s no true . FAA pilots , during the tests, recommended boeing engineers , to improve the action of the Yoke Electrical trim , saying to increase the action of the stab trim , because they thought it should be faster , nothing to do with the stab trim cut out switches , that simply stops electrical trim . This improvement of the trim , is made by simply changing something like a processor in a plate . Until now , I can´t understand, why in both crashes , they went to the ground with the throttles in full power , because it becomes impossible to handle the wheel manual trim . When you switch off the stab trim cut out switches , it´s hard to move the jackscrew , using this wheel .

The 737 MAX series is a safe enough aircraft by itself, it's the MCAS system that has caused these tragic crashes, and Boeing is working overtime to fix that system as we speak. In the real world, as sad as it is, accidents happen. Once it can be verified that the MCAS issues have been resolved, I will happily fly on the MAX. Anyone remember the DC-10 and the cargo door issues? The public regarded that plane as a deathtrap for years, even though it gave decades of reliable service after those issues were fixed.
@Twenty4Eagle

CAPTAIN WELLS PILOT AND FIREFIGHTER I’m not sure on the scale or details of any md-11 or a320 groundings. I’m just saying the scale of the Max groundings is enormous and as a current 737 Captain, I can tell you that it is a serious problem (although all the information I know is as much as anyone else). Boeing were stretching the design limitations with the NG, and the Max is a very clear case of bean counting over engineering. All the Max has, is slightly updated avionics, and more efficient engines. If Boeing wanted to create a good aircraft, they would have designed a new model from scratch using materials and techniques being used already on new aircraft today. As a result of bean counting, innocent people are dead. That’s my opinion, take it how you like.

That's not MCAS. See the pilot's thumb press that switch on the yoke forward? He's manually trimming it down. By the way, the plane automatically trimming up and down is not a feature unique to the MAX. Autotrim is standard on all modern commercial aircraft and happens all the time on autopilot when it commands the plane to do so.

As far as I know, they went to the ground with full take off thrust . How come ? Unreliable air speed is part of pilots trainning in all companies . Runaway stabilizer procedures , too .
