Don't forget how at 8:10 he says the enemy team is 5 minutes away from victory, when the mod actually shows them at 10 minutes left before hitting 1000 points. Also, he says that Montana can't overmatch Zao's 25mm bow.

You see this game after game after game. Your team is winning so the majority of players decide to push into the enemy and die one after the other. It's extremely frustrating.

Kutuzov a radar cruiser. Right. I think jingles does this on purpose, say something stupidly incorrect about ships, game mechanics, etc every video to feed the viewers. Kutuzov = smoke, Chapa = radar.

We'll skip over the Kutuzov thing because everyone is going to point that out. That comment at 12:20 about not being able to overmatch the bow armor of the Zao with AP is, however, a bit wrong by several inches. Contrary to popular believe, T10 cruisers are extremely tanking, even the legendary frail Minotaur which can Yamato shell off her belt when angled properly and maneuvering properly. The tankiest T10 cruisers bows, until recently, Des and Hindi with 27mm bows meaning they are only matched by guns of 16in or larger. The T10 cruisers Zao, Worcester, and Henri have a uniform 25mm bow, meaning to overmatch their bow, you need a gun of 15in or larger. Then their is the special case of Moskva with it's split bow, the up half is 25mm and a 50mm lower bow, meaning if you aim well (and have a bit of luck) you need 15in or larger guns to overmatch the upper bow, but no gun in the game can overmatch the lower bow. So, yes, the Montana can in fact overmatch the bow of the Zao for massive damage and citadels.

The Montana gets a kraken medal, Jingles doesn’t play the kraken clip. What’s going on, who are you, and what have you done with the real Jingles? To be fair, Jingles did call a player by his division mate for the entirety of a 12-14 minute replay without really questioning it, or realizing it.

I do think that even if the Richelieu didn't sunk at 16 secs the Montana will still be able to reach the B Cap and contest it, thus enemy team will no longer gain points(unless this mechanic was changed).

Yeah you didn't give steel wolf his Kraken ! And I have a question for you on the dynamic recital that is in the Basic game. I know that each tic on the horizontal part of the recital is equal too one second of flight time. My question is on the vertical tic's just too the left of center is how much range does each tic represent. Firing on the broadside of a ship is easy when you know the flight time. I want to be more accurate with the range when the enemy ship is sailing away or heading in my direction. Ty in advance for any information you can provide.

Jingles both the Alsace and Montana can over match the 25mm bow armor of tier 10 cruisers like the zao and Hindenburg; the only exception is the Des Moines with 27mm of bow armor that can bounce the Alsace but not the Montana.

Nice one - couple of points though - Kutusov doesn't have radar (smokescreen and either defensive fire or hydro), the enemy team got to 968 before the Richeleau died, if the khaba hadn't gone into C I suspect that they'd have hit the 1000 and won so it was worth the khaba trying to cap C. You quit before the Kraken unleashed clip.... feel robbed:-)!

I think every one who plays WoWS regularly has lost a game for their team because, A: they either did not realize they had won if they just sail away, or B: was chasing some damage number out of fun and/or pride.

That Cleve definitely needed to radar B, but I've seen way too many instances of radar being used, and nobody taking advantage of it. It's the worst feeling to use your radar, nobody shoots the enemy, and then in chat someone's demanding you use your radar.

So . . . . Twice in one week, Jingles show teams losing because players weren't smart enough to turn and run. Could I get a show of hands of how many players think this will change anyone's play style? . . . . . . Searches for hands . . . . . . Searches some more . . . . Yes, likely nobody will learn anything from this. ;_; However, it is fun to see battles indicative of the actual frustrations of playing WoWs. Because Missouri loves company. 8^> (Yes Jingles, feel free to (ab)use that title of a Missouri replay.)

Actually, I learned a lot from Jingles videos early on. That cruisers should fight battleships at long range with HE. That you take less damage if you angle your armour. I'm sure there are a few new players watching this who now understand that the scoreboard and the timer are important things.

Going to be fun when War Thunder finishes their ships. See how the two games compare. A fun and campy HP pool with rng to disable something. Vs. Parts, crew and structure. Things that can drastically affect game play when hit. An arcade sail and shoot. Vs. A war simulation game. Can't wait!!

A more detailed damage model does not make it a war simulation game. War Thunder is still an arcade game, no matter how they label their battle modes.

Maybe you are right. Maybe. But... Compared to the Hit Point pool it's far more of a simulator than WoWships. Yet any game. Any war-game can be called arcade. No matter how true to life the designers attempt to make it. But at least WT gives it an honest effort.

In the damage modeling, sure. But it's not a simulation. The ranges are far too close, the battle premises unrealistic. There's no concern about unit cohesion, malfunctions, technical breakdowns, crew readiness, logistics, supply, and most of all how difficult it is to actually find and engage an enemy at sea. Most engagements were confused affairs and ships had to break off from combat for a multitude of reasons, actual battle damage being far down the list. It wasn't a fight to the death, it was really rare. To put it in another way, to make it absolutely realistic would make for a boring multiplayer. We're talking Eve Online level of complexity. Spreadsheets of data.

Which would make for a very boring game. And again... It is still far better of a battle SIM game then WoWships/planes could ever be. You expect too much and use ridiculous examples in your argument. It must still be a game. Else no one would play it. And each and every one of your examples is easily turned on WoWanything.

I'm not defending WoWs here, it is an arcade game. I'm saying that War Thunder is a polished version, but still has a similar gameplay and appeals to the same audiences. Two sides of the same coin, they do it differently. I don't take one over the other, and I suggest you don't, either (which is why I replied in the first place). I hate WoT but find WoWs decent. I really don't like War Thunder for it's horrible economic model, although I really enjoyed air battles back in the day. I only quit because the grind became unbearable. They're just games, I really don't like people picking sides and standing on the fences saying A is indisputably better than B because this or that, when at the end of the day it's all so similar.

JINGLES not sure if you will read this but could you do a video breaking down the new Royal Navy event, I am fairly sure I have got it but they really have made it seem as complicated as possible. Must admit a bit odd that you can do everything in the event (does the 48 guinea you can earn also include RN only missions? if so does how many is the real maximum guinea value) but you still can not quite earn the Premium ship although the 2 tier 6 ones seem getable.

Hang on wait.... Can radar see through Islands? I havn't got any radar ships to test this and had naively assumed that as radar works by bouncing sound off objects that islands would block radar. Does anyone know if radar in WoWS passes through the solid land mass, hits the enemy ship then bounces back passing through the land mass again to reach my ship? Or is the game realistic enough that my radar bounces off the island?

Every team has 3-4 players that can actually do something right. Then it happens that one side loses all of them and since that moment they are totally doomed even if they have good situation on hand now. I've seen it so many times that even do not care to wine in chat about it anymore.

I had a ranked game like this, our team had 996 points, the enemies 960 when the enemies started contesting our last capture point(2allies alive, 4 enemies iirc), it was a emotional roller coaster:( we lost because of no caps..
