🥒ABOUT BEFRS:
Hey, I’m Sonny! I’m from the US but currently call Vietnam home. I’ve been living in Asia for 10 years and started making food and travel videos to document my experiences. People either enjoyed my undeniable charm or enjoyed watching me eat things like coconut worms, and thus Best Ever Food Review Show came to be.
I travel to different parts of the world, hunting down and documenting the most unique food each country has to offer. If you see any factual food errors in my videos, please feel free to politely let me know in the comments. I'm a huge fan of trying different, interesting foods in each country. My show is from a Western point of view, but more importantly, MY point of view. It is not meant to offend any person or culture.
Don’t forget to subscribe to Best Ever Food Review Show, so we can connect through food and travel and become Bestys!

I saw this video years ago and seeing the mouthwatering food, and amazing culture inspired me to go to Louisiana. Recently I was able to go and experience the culture. I was primarily excited to go to Spuddys, the restaurant that inspired me to come and finally stood 10 feet away from spuddys door. In the video it mentioned how Spuddys business was declining due to less traffic in the area but once I arrived I thought it would be doing better due to the popularity of the episode. Once I entered I was met with an empty restaurant and a busy spuddy that greeted me. He was on the phone so I couldn’t talk to him about the show and what not but he explained that his restaurant wasn’t a restaurant anymore but a cooking class. I left the restaurant and went to another close by where a French local explained that ever since a bad storm Spuddys is only opened for a total of 12 hours out of the whole week and he made it into a cooking class. It was very saddening to see my inspirations restaurant to be doing so poorly so I wish that you guys can support Spuddys and that food review show can visit him once again.

@Bale Sahagun I've emailed the head office after the last debacle (re: 6 inch upgrade to for long). I'm their response is that the stores are independent franchises. That's rubbish, McD is franchise owned but I've never had issue applying any offers advertised by head office. I know I won't but from there out of principle of poor execution of advertising almost like bait advertising. McD has national and local store advertising (e.g. shop a socket or little athletics). Food aside, McD does a better job of building the brand value for it's franchises and Subway seems to do the opposite.

I’m from south Louisiana and I couldn’t be more proud of our culture to be shared with others. I’m constantly working out of state and they think it’s so weird that I’m so “nice”. Just because I want to share my culture with them. I constantly share the food and flavors and they always think I’m up to something and there’s some catch. I genuinely get joy from them enjoying my culture.

@@ShadaeMastersAstrology because they were enslaved people who came from all kinds of different areas. He could have listed every African nation they came from but that is not necessary…. He wasn’t being disrespectful by any means. It is a literal fact that slave people created many of he most well known southern recipes like red beans and rice, gumbo, jambalaya. It’s not meant to be demeaning. Most of the meals that they made were hodgepodge meals with a little bit of everything they had to spare. The food has African and other inspirations but it’s not African it’s unique and it’s Cajun. The food is unique to southern culture because it was created in that culture. And yes alot of it came from slaves. It’s not an insult it’s a fact. A lot of Cajun food inspiration also came from the French, known for their amazing sauces! And you could even say that boils, seafood boils, and stew boils have a very Irish inspiration. The Irish were also one of many peoples enslaved.
