That was very kind and openminded of him. He recognized her having an anxiety and swooped in for the rescue. Most people would remain unaware or just don't bother helping out a stranger especially in our fast paced society.

I got a panicattack and nobody knew what to do, (tbh not even I knew it what to do, to that point, till a friend told me) They came up to me asked "if im fine" i said under tears n heavily breathing "yes'' and they left again. Idk it was so terrible n awkward...

I freaking love that Hollyhock scene. When she started to panic and look around I genuinely felt bad for her, remembering how she'd been drinking laced coffee all those weeks. Her reactions honestly kinda made me stressed too. Followed by a complete stranger recognizing her struggles and going over to help! Even before I remembered Peter was from the story before, his interactions with Hollyhock were freaking adorable beyond belief. Here's hoping they became really good friends post series...

I really connected with Hollyhock's anxiety attack. The one time I went to a night club, the same thing happened to me. The way the animation and sound changes is accurate to how I felt. I only wish someone had helped me like that.

Right??? It's really cool when shows actually illustrate what's going on in the character's mind instead of just showing a person randomly panicking in an otherwise fun environment.

Everyone feels bad for him but.... He said bojack practically made him drink. That's a lie. They were already drinking before he got them alcohol. Bob jack even said to cut alcohol with water while they cut theirs with redbull. And they kinda looked smashed preprom. They didn't have to drink. Little deer didn't drink..... Regardless Pete's ex was always going to end up at that hospital. Maybe he would have abandoned her had he not had bojack as a ride. We don't know. But Pete is definitely not a straight shooter. You don't hit on someone after helping them with a panic attack. It's taking advantage. They're frail. Easy to groom. Had he been a standup guy he would have suggested to maybe head home to stick with friends but you saw his intentions. I felt VERY uneasy about Pete and I feel he added to story when Holly found out it was bojack. I'm assuming she told him who she was and after they created a false narrative where bojack is the reason any bad things have happened to them

Bojack doesn't have social anxiety and neither does Hollyhock, I think. Both were panicking over the alcohol specifically due to his past history with it (Sarah Lynn) and her family history and being afraid of losing control.

It's kinda' funny that I haven't had a full-fledged panic attack, I guess I always feel so disconnected from my life that I lack the self composure needed to really fall apart like that. Maybe I just haven't had the opportunities, I don't know. I haven't been to any parties or anything either. It has gotten a little worse, like before I go to work, but it still hasn't been all-out like this. I'm usually... For lack of a better word, okay. At least enough to 'go on'. Funny how much of a fairy-tale Hollyhock's scene feels like too. I feel like a lot of the time I've waited and hoped that someone could see, that I uh- y'know, can't. I mean it can happen, yeah. But too often, it feels like we just wait for people around us--well at least I do--to notice our struggles and lend a hand. Because the reality, of taking responsibility and really trying to help ourselves, for just... Ourselves, is so... Hard, and scary, because it's so isolating focusing on trying to improve yourself without feeling seen in the process. *Good God, being alive and trying to get better is a horrifying ordeal sometimes.*

Having panic attacks really, really, sucks. People who haven't had panic attacks often assume it's just some wimpy internal freak out or just bad anxiety that people aren't mature enough to handle, which is what I thought too, until I had one. It's 100 times worse than normal anxiety, your body legitimately tricks you into thinking you're dying and so you get pumped with adrenaline for no reason which only exacerbates the feeling. It's a mind-breakingly terrifying experience and the worst part is that there's nothing to actually be terrified about so people assume you're crazy.. First time I had one I was on edge for WEEKS afterwards. I consider myself lucky because I've read accounts of people's lives being completely ruined by it but mine only flares up once in a blue moon.
