I was at that show, i was about 14, it was incredible despite being about half way through a huge world tour, after 30 years of relentless touring Jon’s voice was the best it had ever been, his power, control, projection and his restraint to know when to push it, when to flex it and when to take it easy so he could make the best of every moment is just impeccable, it was truly an honour to experience it, a night i will never forget.

Saw them live in the early nineties for their Keep the Faith Tour. I have been to MANY concerts and this was one of the best. Jon can sing live like no other and Ritchie and the band just bring it hard. The crowd singing all the words to all the albums at the top of their lungs and dancing. I remember this. ❤️

If your going down the Bon Jovi catalog .. the song to take in is "Bad Medicine" Not one of there more popular songs but one of the best in my view.

one of the elements that sets Bon Jovi apart from so many similar bands is jon's songwriting. Yes they perform and record well, but Jon's storytelling and writing in his songs is so moving and powerful and deep.

Even though it's clear his voice is not what it used to be, it was still a great performance for him and just to be there and experience it in the flesh...oh man!!! Quite possibly one of the best thing those people will experience in their lives, and a memory they will keep forever. What a high!!!!

Alec John Such was fired in 1994 and was replaced on bass guitar by Hugh Mcdonald

Awesome reaction. They are amazing in concert. I was a first aider at the Eastern Creek concert they did in Australia back in 1995. Will never forget when this song played. I just treated a casualty who was having a fit, blood dripping over my back from hail when my mate and I were protecting the casualty. As Livin' on a Prayer was jamming, security guy told us to get up out of the water we were standing in up to our knees, as live wires were under the water. After this song, he brought the crowd back down by doing a cover of The Wanders Years theme. I will also NEVER forget before the show, when I was waiting to use the portaloo toilet at the back stage and Jon, himself, walking out after 15 minutes with a smile on his face and a porno mag under his arm.

Bon Jovi did a song years ago with Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland that i think you would like. Name of it was "Who says you can't go home". You might enjoy it.

I grew up with my mom being absolutely obsessed with Bon Jovi. I went to my first concert when i was 6 and it was Bon Jovi and I’ve seen him every single time he has come to my area since. There is NOTHING like them preforming this song live and the crowds reaction. They are amazing live and will NEVER DIE! Amazing reaction! GIBBY GANG CHECKIN IN!

All time favorite band and song! And as good as this performance is, their best show they ever put on has to be Giant Stadium in 2001. By far the best concert video out there; all the songs just blow you away.

It was Hugh Mcdonald on the bass guitar. Original bass player Alec John Such was sacked by Jon Bon Jovi in the early nineties.

I am just watching his reaction to this tonight and before even starting I noticed it was with Hugh and was going to make the mention that it was Hugh on bass and not Alec. But wanted to check to see if it was already mentioned (which I hoped it had been)! :) I liked Alec, but respect their decision to what happened and think Hugh has done an awesome job!!

This was at the end of this paticular tour, just after he blew out his left knee. Also, that's Hugh on bass. Alex Such had been out of the band since the "Keep the Faith" tour.

This was my wifes and my favorite song and favorite band...she died last week at the age of 64 leaving me totally heartbroken. I cant even listen to music anymore because it makes me very low and suicidal. I listened to this song and wish i had not 😢😢😢

Genius! How do u keep singing a song that you HAVE to perform...it's the fans favorite song you've ever done...but its the #1 song that's caused the most damage to you're voice? Answer: When the key change hits towards the end (the problematic section of the song where he's belting notes too high for his range - for like 30 yrs) get the audience to sing it for you...genius ❤

I know your channel is about the classics of rock and metal. There is an all-female band from Japan who are bringing back the 80s sound in their music. They sing in 100% English too. The band's founder loves 80s metal like Iron Maiden and Judas Priest and Helloween so when she formed the band her goal was to create a band that would save heavy metal and return it to its roots by playing music with the 80s sound.
