The movie should've been a mini series. No way you can cram all that into two hours. It was perfectly cast, that I know.

This is one of my favorite movies so then I went and bought the book. Adore them both! Made me want to move there.

Thank you for posting this. Again I was brought back to Savannah, a place I have been many times. The “Book” brought me there and it is my favorite city. I will never forget how you and I became friends while walking out of Bonaventure after your tour. You gave me so much information on the characters that I didn’t know. I hope you remember too.

I'm glad I read "The Book" after visiting Savannah and the Mercer Williams house. Especially, after taking the wonderful private tour with you and your interesting stories. As a proud Southern woman, I can appreciate the eccentricities of the locals. Shannon, you and Kelsey will forever be intertwined with my Savannah memories. Thank you.
