Bonsai Deadwood: Carving a Jin and Hollow

Күн бұрынI'm carving bonsai deadwood in this video. I reduce the size of a jin (deadwood branch) on a rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis) leaving a smaller jin. Next I carve out a big hollow from some deadwood on a large old chinese elm I bought into the garden in the summer.

By the way, I know nothing about rosemary, I'm making it up as I go along. If anyone has any advice on keeping them, please let me know, much appreciated! :D
