My actual completion time is around 30 minutes, but I dont know the exact number for what is on screen because I got interrupted in the middle and had to run through the whole thing again up to wave 85 from the beginning.
Not bad though, considering i was watching The Walking Dead at the same time (during the redo to 85), and how distracted I was during recording because I was dong a Livecast.

I worked on this game. Actually helped make the entire Crucible 101 waves and the climbing sequence back in 2011 - 2012. I was a full-time contract designer. THQ closed b/c of the UDraw devices made for Xbox and Playstation. It sold well on the Wii so the CEO thought it would sell on the other consoles. So they ordered a ton of units for both XB and PS, and it that never sold or moved. Darksiders 2 basically broke even. Jason Rubin made this big speech about saving THQ when he was brought on and his experience at Naughty Dog made him a gifted leader. Then 2 weeks later in April of 2012, Vigil Games (we) had massive layoffs. First was 99% of the Warhammer 40k MMO team. 1% was brought onto DS2. Then about 70% of the Darksiders team was let go. We lost a bunch of full timers and us in contractor land barely survived. Only the best contractors survived me included, but in June I decided not to stay on as a contractor after the game shipped. I didn't get to work on any of the DLC except the boss portals at the end. I do miss the team and studio. The culture was great and the leaders were wonderful except for one. Also Wicked K was extremely zero hour last minute. Which is why he doesn't have facial animations.

This is one of the best games I've ever played. I could see myself playing it again for fun. But no time soon. I'm still experiencing bugs that were supposedly fixed and patched. The save bug that causes your game to freeze. I uninstalled multiple times and reinstalled the patch. So I had to get rid of almost all of my extra stuff I was carrying around, then find out after the fact some of the legendary items had been leveling up... But I don't know if the others were. And the Abyssal Forge apparently they made the boss weak to ice. But didn't account for him getting frozen which seems to be the cause for the glitch it was never programmed in or just allowing him to get frosted. Also beating the Crucible from bottom to top I never got the hammer.

Just finished getting the platinum trophy for this game. Thank you for making these videos, you clearly put a lot of time and effort into them. I enjoyed your commentary throughout all 45 episodes. This game will go down as one of my all time favourites along with the other 4 games I have platinum’s for (Uncharted 2, Destiny, Mafia 2, and Rocket league)

I love the necromancer build i think its stronger cuz your just chilling in the background and letting your minions handle everything and you get aegis guard that makes them even stronger so... necromancer is better 😃

Kuddlesnot help !!! Is there a way that i can prevent game crashes on the crucible ??? i simply cannot go further cause my game crashes every time. It's like i fight 10 to 15 levels and the boom, crash. With this shit i cannot complete 1 to 101. I struggle to get to 75 w/o crash. Please answer

don't know if this is already known but Nordic games bought Darksiders and they're planning on continuing it, it's unknown when but apparently they got a lot of people from the Darksiders staff with them.

So let's say on my new game plus run I made it to stage 25,50 75 or wicked k and died can I jump straight to my last death point and still get the achivment/trophy?

I don’t know if this is some glitch or not but, I’m playing the Deathinitive edition and just before I started the last quarter of the Crucible (I was going in stages) I saw that Wicked K was already unlocked before I even started level 76.

Im a Harbringer and i found a blue talisman with 50 % arcrane arcane critical chance at lvl 27 making me want to arcane now but ive spent my first set of stonebyes as crit chance pff cant decide !

I only recently came into possession of all three Darksiders games, so there's still a lot of stuff I don't understand. Darksiders Warmastered Edition was pretty straight forward, and I only needed a little help with that, but Darksiders 2 The Deathinitive Edition is a bit more taxing. I only just finished all of the side quests and finished up to Level 75 of the Crucible, by the skin of my teeth no less. I even did all of the additional campaigns, but I'm still confused by the game overall. I heard you mention something about being stuck at Level 22 during the first five minutes of this video. Am I correct in assuming that the first time you play the game, you can only level up to Level 22 before you stop gaining experience, because that's pretty much what I've been dealing with. I beat the games main campaign, but I was worried I'd lose all of my progress if I started over after I won. Can you tell me what to do so I can stop feeling so aggravated, finish the Crucible, and move on to Darksiders 3?

I think melee attacks more fun. My opinion of course. Also my secondary weapon just did over 28k crit damage currently and 7k plus on main weapon. I'm only on 72 percent crit chance and 300 percent crit damage. I dont have health steal or wrath steal yet. But health on crit is just as good.

So, what company were you talking about that wanted to buy Darksiders? I heard that Platinum wanted to buy it and the majority of their games are fantasy, not sci-fi. Then again, the only sci-fi game I know they did was Metal Gear Rising.

The fastest way to get possesed weapons is to fight til wave 10 then choose the loot theres always possesed weapons

i havent a 1000 gamerscore because i played the orginel one (the xbox 360 version) back in 2018 and because of THQ servers not existing anymore. i cant get pay it forward and BFA achievements, everything else i unlocked. i did unlock everything in-game and achievements for darksiders 1 on the xbox 360 which is the easy with the armor of course lol.

Early on (like levels 1-10) Harbinger (hacky slashy) is better than Necromancer, but later on Necromancer provides more DPS and survivability. WAAAAAAY more. Sadly I'm too far into the game and all my stuff is for harbinger :[

I beat all 100 waves. Took about an hour. Then when I tried to climb up to wicked k, death would not grab hold of the vines. It was like they weren't even there! So, I have to start completely over now. I could punch a hole in the wall. SO FRUSTRATING!

80% arcane crit chance 350% crit damage and finally found my first weapon with lifesteal on it, took me long enough i already have played 40hours into this game and yes lifesteal is op, cant wait to get my first wrath steal weapon. and i dont even have the dlcs, but i plan on buying it for the wicked k arena, is it worth 10 bucks? Or am i bound to play it once and thats it or is there are restart function when i beat lvl 101?

you need to know that to fight the wicked k u have to start a new game....if u already finished the new game + then yes..you are bound to play it once and then thats it..i mean playing again and again wont give u anything new :)

I just like to fight u know. I think the combat is funn and there are more ways to reach opness, 80% chance to execute 80 reaper gain per execute. Wich means 4 times execute= reaperform fully filled up.

bob Barkley i agree! :) combat is indeed very fun!..well then go for it :) the arena is the only place u can fight and make ur way to the top while u get free op loot,also the arena it self is pretty fun to play :) never made it to the top my self because it requires a new game plus and i have other games to play :) also i still dont have any of those "op builds" just have a normal one with high lvl items,and holy fuck your build is op xD

If you are going full arcane build there is no need for lifesteal what so ever. Wrath steal however is awesome. igot 100% arcane crit with 550% arcane crit dmg and 650 arcane and i am just killing things way too fast to lifesteal. Hell many times i dont evn get the chance to auto attack.

I've worked with 80% executin chance and a wrathsteal and high reaper energy per execution. Honestly...its more funn to use reaper form in every battle but it feels more op than wrath steal to me. But the games biggest flaw is, you cant kill every boss on max lvl...no online coop or pvp and the game doesnt like to be played ....there is nothing to do when you finish the game twice. Such a dumb decision. I wish there was a ng++ feature like in every lootbased game ever... But somehow they built this huge flaw in without noticing, even on the remake. RPGs are meant to be played for 200hours min, but the most you can get out of this game is 48hrs with all big dlcs... Feels like a good first attempt for a RPG lootbased game with dmc combat but lacks any depth in any other area.

Critical damage and arcane critical damage max damage is between 300 and 400% it is pointless to go further than that

I'm playing the Deathinitive edition on the Xbox One and I've beaten the game on apocalyptic, I finished all side quests, beat the crucible and wicked k. There's literally nothing left to do i the game, but I didn't get the BFA achievement. Has this happened to anyone else?

So wtf are you saying exactly ??? The well of souls will reset my game ?? Isn't the well of souls is the final story mission when you kill the faty tenticlish huge guy that you fight at the end of every crucible take at like round 101 Im now at new game plus and I just started the thing should I continue playing just the story missions and do everything ?? Or should I ignore something in specific in one of the missions ??? I want to reach lvl 30 before doing any side quests so that any loot I get get scaled to my lvl so I can get the max status on every unique gear im the game

You can't reach to lvl 30 from your first play. Max lvl cap is 22 from the first play, to get to lvl 30 you have to start the new game plus.

The waves 75-100 can only be accesed in NG+ after you reach level 25.
