Fun fact: The Tusken Raiders find water sacred and that it only belongs to them, that’s why they’re so hostile, so giving it to boba was the biggest complement

@@thegoldenmask2051 it’s not water, it’s their territory on the planet. The reason they’re hostile is because they don’t like ordinary people coming into their territory without asking, but because most people don’t speak Tuskan, it just ends in bloodshed. However, the Tuskans become okay with regular people if they help each other, as was seen in Mandolorian

Same thought. Honestly can't blame them at this point since even I don't see a) why Boba even wants to become a warlord and b) why anyone should take him seriously since he has no crew but one assassin and two Gamorreans who just stumbled into his service. A Daiymo withou samurai would not have lasted long in feudal Japan, so I'm curious to see how Boba remedies this deficiency.

In Clone Wars we saw that Wookies and Trandoshans have a very bloody relationship with Wookies being a kind of ultimate trophy for Trandoshans to hunt. A Trandoshan then giving a Wookie pelt could be seen as a sign of high honour and respect; though it may be too early in the series to call.

Another connection the Robert Heinlein’s Stranger in a Strange Land. In the story, a young Martian comes to earth and teaches earthlings his ways, one of which being “Water Brothers” and the concept of Grok, to understand so much as to become one with something. I found it cool that the Tribe Chief shared his “Water” with Bobba like a “Water Brother” after Bobba proved himself in the ways of the sand.

Kinda cool to see the Gammorreans get some action in. Much like Boba himself, we always assumed they were fairly ferocious, seeing as they all served as bodyguards, but theu were relugated to being fodder in the films. So, nice to see more than just Boba getting a shot to live up to their in-universe reputation

I had an entire team of the original Gammorrean guard toys as a kid. I had them surrounding Jabba at all times. There was something symbolic about how useless Jabba was as being a giant bug eating worm that acted tough. The guards knew what was up and had to work hard for their paychecks/freedom. It was tough when I first saw one get eaten in the pit below Jabba's throne.🤣

I have an idea that, the mayor (if he ordered the hit) was working with the canteen owner, and purposefully put credits in both Boba's and Fennec's helmet, so that they couldn't put them on, making them easier targets for the ambush, especially without Boba Fett wearing his nigh impervious beskar. of course it dint work but it seems like a cool detail.

Yep the credits made it so they couldn't get the helmets on and also ID'd them on the street.
@K8aMiura
@K8aMiura 2 жыл бұрын
I don't know about that. They could have just easily taken the credits out and then put on the helmet or there may have even been the possibility that they declined the helmet servicing in the first place. I think they just think of different ways to have boba with his helmet off in the series so that Temuera Morrison can have more facetime. (Just like in the Mandalorian when they changed Din Djarin's no taking helmet off tradition so Pedro Pascal could have more facetime on screen) But this is just my opinion.

A nice detail I believe I caught. The theme for this series with the deep male choir evokes the Mando'a songs we hear as the theme such as "Vode an" in Star Wars Republic Commando the videogame. In lore, the "Vode an" song we hear in the game is a galactasized version of the old Mandalorian songs, changing things in the lyrics for example to "Coruscanta a'den mhi Vode an" as in "We the wrath of Coruscant, Brothers all" reflecting the fact that the commandos are soldiers of the Republic but are essentially Mandalorians in their training and traditions (because the finest soldiers were trained ruthlessly by real Mandalorians accepted by Jango). As Boba is in the same sort of ordeal as the commandos (miss you Sev), he is a clone bread in a pod, but trained and raised as a Mandalorian the choir and theme really pay homage to that whole idea.

The gang who attacked the moisture farm are not actually a “ gang “. They are actually water collectors. Jabba may have been dead at the time, but he still ruled over everything. So yes, he actually had a water tax on moisture farmers. The reason we’ve never seen them before is because Obi-Wan actually protected Luke and the Lars family from the collectors. ( also, completely off topic, but also really fucked up. Obi-Wan would often beat the ever living shit out of tusken raiders bare handed in his spare time. Almost as some form of exercise or keeping in shape. )

Uncle Owen and Aunt Beru were torched by Boba Fett imo because infantry stormtroopers don't usually carry flamethrowers while Boba Fett was not only very close with Vader but also obviously has a flamethrower on his gauntlet. Its very likely he and some stormtroopers were sent there by Vader to question and kill them and Boba Fett was the one who annihilated them especially since in ANH there is a scene where Boba Fett is with Jabba on Tatooine right before Luke and Obi-Wan leave with Han and Chewy. I think it makes most sense that Boba Fett killed them with his flamethrower.

@@sentinel-wraith9060 who knows, The "no disintegrations" line by Vader to Boba in ESB makes it seem like it was Boba imo. Plus its a cooler story than just a stormtrooper doing it. If a stormtrooper killed Owen and Beru its not as badass as if Boba did and that's facts.

As you can tell I’m extremely excited about anything Star Wars, especially since we are so deprived of actual Star Wars contact. Last thing I wanted to say, I think it is so cool that they have the actor playing Boba Fett that played Jango fett. Boba is an Unaltered clone of Jango fett his father which is strange, imagine raising a child thats a clone of you. So for continuity sake and lore sake it is really cool and fan service and an example of how these guys know Star Wars. God I hope this season turns out to be really cool. We need another win guys that’s the only way we’re going to get the Star Wars stuff we want and save Star Wars.

Great stuff. I'll bet Max Rebo was an oversight. Some things that you did not mention were: * After using the Stormtrooper's Oxygen to breathe, he also uses it to provide Oxygen for his Flamethrower. A necessity for combustion. * It also appeared that they were showing some element of a Sandpeople Religion. One looked like a Shaman, others like "Altar Boys"[Maybe?]. * When the Sandperson-Shaman shares water with Boba, I was like: "Ping!". Oh, that's Why they called it Stranger in a Strange Land!" Because in the Heinlein novel, that was the greatest gift you could give someone. Sharing water made someone family. You Grok?
