Stray info for BLG: - the cat does not get hurt! It will be ok all the way to the end of the game 👍 - The story can be very poignant and bittersweet, but it does have a lot of hope. I don't think it would be too depressing. - It DOES have some very spooky moments. You might find it a little too horror-esque at times. Still, there's no haunting existential horror, if that sways your decision I'd love if yall played Stray, I think Casey would adore it ❤

I watched some of it myself when it came out but honestly I fast-forwarded through most of it to get to the ace attorney bit and then stopped so it was good to have an excuse to watch like. 80% of it for the first time (including the new metroid that I hadn't heard about! would love to see more of that!!!). Also the reactions. (the fact that both of you got excited enough to shake the camera at least once each :3). Pretty much all of them yall seemed interested in I would be down to watch too ^^ (also circling back to the aa investigations games: I cannot recommend enough playing the second investigations game enough, especially if you haven't before, because it's absolutely brilliant, my favorite in the series. saying this with 0% intent of it being on the channel. literally just that if you like the series you should check it out for yourself personally)

You should check out Dragon Quest 11. It's really fun and the Switch version is actually the definitive version. I think you would enjoy it.

Heya you two glad to see a new upload with you two and I’ll watch it right away, but before that I felt the need to write my thoughts down a bit as I find you two so outstandingly funny that I don’t wanna be just a silent watcher. Firstly I’m really glad you are feeling better and that is wasn’t you know cancer. It would have felt really weird and bad when I came and discover this channel and it immediately goes… well I’ll leave that thought be. In any case I used the pause to binge throw so so much. I’ve watched Pokemon Diamond Nuzlocke of which it’s sad you never came to the post game but I enjoyed all your reactions as it really was unique having a blind Gen 4 playthrough, Pokemon Arceus I’m still in the process of getting through it but it’s fun so far, Pokemon Scarlet I finished and it was hilarious sorry if I repeat myself but it just is that… like Ians Hour long meltdown… man… but on that note this is one wish I would have is for you two to play the DLC of Scarlet, I wanna see the adventure of Bumble continue in the Teal Mask and Indigo Disk as they are so so good by far my favorite Pokemon story to date, Pikmin 4 I saw and I hope to see you play Pikmin 3 Deluxe one day to change your mind about it perhaps as it’s the game that got me into the series, Tears of the Kingdom of course which got me here in the first place and it definitely drove me crazy how Ian kept doing literally everything else to the point where I though you’d suddenly start playing BotW as a bit before continuing story🤣, Metroid Prime of which I loved Casey finally be on the player side and Ian absolutely lose it in anxiety but I’m sad it is unfinished, I started watching Mario Rabbids and look forward to see how you like it, I saw both Ori Games and I was a bit stumped for how you two reacted to it’s story or Casey at least. Not to say it was bad, but it confused me at some points, Metroid Dread I saw second after TotK and not much to say there, Paper Mario Origami King I also finished and how you cheated at Shy Guys Finish Last was not new, I did the same😂. How Casey was so bummed over Bobby was also intersting😅. Age of Calamity I finished the fastest of them all. I dunno why but you two where extra unhinged there, my fav moment was in the Daruk episode where you suddenly started talking about not knowing to eat in front of Ians parents and how Casey stuck food in her bra… was certainly a moment… And that is it for the time being but I plan to watch way way more. What you two say and speak so fluently from normal topics into absolutely crazy stuff with totally normal unfazed voices is just the purest energy😅. I really like that energy so I’ll keep on watching for a long time yet and look forward to what you’ll play. Still what I’d wish for most is see you play the Treasure of Area Zero DLC, it really is that good… and maybe finish Metroid Prime. I know I can’t tell you what to play, but I hope you’ll consider it😉. The most fun thing about any of your LPs is the crazy stories you share from time to time. Like Casey thinking Ian was spawned in a lab until he was 20 and met her cause he doesn’t know how to suck on a straw… that Diamond Part killed me, I had to stop for a hot minute to collect myself again. Let’s see what else… oh yeah Ian likes Olives that’s right isn’t it🤣

Dragon Quest III is actually like Final Fantasy I where you make your own party picking up the classes you want (only the protagonist is always the Hero class. And the classes are different from FF of course). So you might like it. The setup is literally like a D&D campaign in that you pick your party members (either presets or creating your own which is what everybody does) at a tavern shortly after starting the game. And yeah doing 3 before 1 and 2 is certainly a choice. 3 is the most popular of the trilogy, and honestly it is the better game. The project started as just a 3 remake and then got expanded, since might as well do it (a chunk of the map is shared between all three games, many monsters are the same, etc). Chronologically 3 is a prequel so it works out fine as well.

So Dragon Quest is in a weird position because 3 is a prequel to 1 and 2. They're releasing the games in Chronological order rather than release order.

If you two are seriouslly concidering playing the Mario&Luigi games that would jsut be SO COOL. I think they would fit PERFECTLY on the channel, theyre very whimsical, creative and fun (maybe aside from paper jam, theres some complicated stuff going on with that one) While entries 1 and 3 have remakes made of them honestly yall probably would be better off playing the originals? Many people say the remakes jsut feel slower and also take a bit away from the creativity of the originals, sicne they were released kind of in that "safe" period for Mario spinoffs. DQ3 is one of two games in the series which uses a party of player created characters instead of fixed story characters. Point being: she was spot on, there is in fact what could reasonably be called a clown class. Knight, healer, monk, etc and then also the clown, which is the shitpost option for self handicap.

Just to be that guy and explain, Dragon Quest 3 is THE game, not just of Dragon Quest but of JRPGs. It's neat that DQ1 and 2 are also getting remade, but 3 would absolutely be the one they did first even if they didn't have the chronological excuse.

[This has no spoilers] If you guys like the paper mario games I think you'll like the Mario and Luigi series. If you want to pick one up I would sugest the first one mainly because it's the start of the narrative that has carried to at least one other mario and luigi game, Bowsers Inside Story. That being said the games were made so you don't need to have played the other games to play any new ones. Mario and Luigi Paper Jam is a colab with the paper mario series and has paper mario as a playable character in it [thats in the trailers if your worried about spoliers] and a bunch of other paper mario characters in it, though I'm too broke to get it and try it myself. If you do play any of them I would use a ds because a bunch of them have features that require the ds in a few ways [example Bowsers Inside Story needs you to blow into the mic]. While I do think some emulators got past those I'm not sure. That being said If you can find one to play please do, I would love to see you guys play the series.

Even without the long-rumoured Twilight Princess/Wind Waker ports this direct was so good! I was not expecting so much, especially at the end of the Switch's life. The Zelda game looks very puzzle-y, which I am into. Mildly disappointed Zelda doesn't get a sword, but I do also see them wanting her to have a different playstyle to "justify" playing as Zelda and not Link. Also Lego Horizon info (because I love the Horizon series and am SO PUMPED for the Lego version), it is essentially a retelling of the first game in the more lighthearted Lego style. I do really think y'all would enjoy the Horizon series, it has one HELL of a story and the world and gameplay are very engaging. The first game (with the DLC) regularly goes on sale for like 10 bucks.

Heya! I would love to see you guys go through all the Metroid Prime games! Was hoping to see them remaster Prime 2 and 3, but who knows - maybe they will port them over while waiting for the 2025 release date for 4. I loved your playthrough of Prime 1, and hope that even if you don't finish that playthrough on the channel that Casey gets to experience the full game one way or another!

A quick note about Prime 4 is that you would want to at least see (if not play) the story of Metroid Prime Hunters because that's where the "new" villain is from. It also might be smart to wait to play the other Metroid Prime games until they announce a date for Prime 4 in case they do another remaster/rerelease of 2 or 3.

If you're going to play Mario and Luigi; Bowser's Inside Story (And I absolutely recomend you do, as well as the other M&L games), might I suggest playing the orriginal rather than the remake? The remake seriously messes some things up. Do play the remake of Superstar Saga, though. And definately also play Parters in Time, as that one gets forgotten a lot. Just, please, play Mario and Luigi!

Ooh, was half not expecting a BLG reaction from this, but it seems Ian is recovering nicely! I am VERY excited to hear your thoughts on this one! Yeah, I'm very excited for the new Mario & Luigi. I absolutely loved the first three of those (somehow never got around to playing any others) and will definitely give this new one a shot after all these years. You two getting so wrapped up in the Naruto vs Fairy Tail discussion you completely miss the next game was hilarious. Though from what I experienced of Naruto and what I've heard about later Fairy Tail, both series sort of take a sharp dip into Dumb Anime Plot syndrome in the latter parts and lose any serious quality they had. My last attempts at shooting hoops are about two decades old, and they were generally misses. That MIO very much caught my attention. Will definitely be playing it when it comes out on something (it's on pc too). I've also never played a Dragon Quest, but I've seen one played a bit and absorbed stuff about the series through cultural osmosis and a surprisingly good Dragon Quest manga I binge-read this one time. Wow you guys are amazing at predicting or half-predicting these games. "New Breath of the Wild" right before the Zelda game shows up. The slow buildup to your sudden realization that yes, Echoes of Wisdom is indeed a ZELDA game was super fun to watch! Malo Mart music doesn't hit the same without the hype screen. Horizon Zero Dawn is a seriously good game (it's also on pc, btw). They definitely saved the best for last this time. PRIME 4 BAYBEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Casey should finish up Prime 1, leading into Ian playing Prime 2 and 3.

I'm no seasoned DQ fan, but for what it's worth - having played some of the DS ones and planning to pick up 11 soon - I highly recommend the series if you're interested in a nice, classic, good ol' turn-based RPG. Generally, it seems like most people recommend 3, 5, 8, or 11 as the gateway games. DQ3 has a really strong character-creation/team-building system ala FF1/3, so you get to experiment a lot with different builds and setups. 5 and 8 have very strong stories. And 11 is the newest and (to my understanding) most all-around accessible entry thus far. If you're curious, 11 does have a demo available, on PC and Switch and other consoles and whatnot. So that might be a good way to test the waters and gauge whether you vibe with it or not!
