ESPECIALLY when you consider that the ENTIRE ALBUM was recorded in Tom Scholz basement in Boston and he played EVERY INSTRUMENT ON IT !!! @@craigjackson5903 drum tracks were just guide track since Tom was not proficient on a kit. The actual album drm trks were done by Sib Hashian and Jim Masdea. And I'll NEVER forget where I was when I heard the news about Brad come over my car radio! It still weighs heavy in my heart. Real bad. Honestly hard to believe it's been that long ago. Never got to see them in person. But "Don't Look Back" was one of my first 2 simultaneous LP purchases. (The other was ELO's "Out of the Blue"). Still even remember what song on my album ("It's Easy") had a small scratch that would cause a "repeat" near the beginning of the solo. (I guess I kind of wore it out?! HaHa) Got used to it after a while. Just needed a gentle "bump" to continue. Still hear that "phantom" scratch every time the song is played elsewhere. That memory really makes me smile. Long live the '70s!

It is so sad that there is no bands like this today. 55 years old here. If you are 22 you will never get it. you have to be at least 45 to get it. So sad....

sun dancer 57, just in the last few years really finding out, how really great 70s music was/is. The Cars was my band of choice for many decades, for some reason, and then a few years ago I found Buckethead, then more recently the rest have been finding their way back into my ‘soundtrack’ . Rick Beatos’ KZfaq channel has really been great for analyzing some of the songs from that era.

sun dancer “I’m an old depressing fuck who thinks they’re better than everyone else because I’m a boomer-hipster.” Good music exists everywhere all the time. There are bands like this today, but you’re too old, lazy, and technologically inept to find them. Just keel over already, asswipes.

they were old men at that point anyway. they sucked live, sholz was a statue on stage and couldn't re-create the overdubs live. the only good music they ever made was in sholz's basement in 1975. we have the recordings to play whenever we want.

@@adayatatyme yeah don't look back in 1978 had a couple of good songs on it, and i liked "amanda" from third stage. they blew it by not putting out more albums in their prime though.

I saw them 9 years earlier, 1979, St. John’s Arena, Columbus, Ohio. My FIRST concert. My parents were angry I “wasted” 6.50 on a ticket. The memory of that concert is priceless so kids-mom and dad are NOT always right!! RIP Brad Delp. Thanks for the memories. ❤️✊🏼
