Yo rob quick tip, to help with the light refraction aim 6 inches low for every foot of water that the fish is in. Hope that helps.

I love bowfishing i use a 45 pound recurve got it when i was 16 turned 49 this year we eat some and grind up the rest mix with corn meal use it as cat food pn the farm. Thanks for your video's awesome fishing.

I lived on a farm in North Carolina after 2 yrs US Army 1972-74 place had 2 lake divided by Co Rd with 48" pipe connecting two lake, bass and what I call pike swam through the pipe, I would stand atop the pipe with recurve 60# bow & fishing rig. Shot many from above, no reel all hand line. that was the best fish hunt ever.

im not a big u-tube fan, but I just acquired a cajun sucker punch bow fishing rig from a friend who needed the coin, and was perusing the tube on how to use it, found your two vids of how to fish with a bow and liked them, BUT it was your adorable little girl that made me want to sub as well as the fact that you are a Texan, IM from Amarillo,(Nanook of the north) as well as a vet. Amazon has them, Ebay also. They are around 35$. Ive used mine out here in the desert and its held up well. There are a ton of straps though that you should remove if you don't need them(Cut).

You should come to Australia and catch some freshwater monster barramundi which can grow to 32kg or go to the Great Barrier Reef and catch massive GT and coral trout.

Probably a long shot, but I am looking to get into bow fishing, and I need suggestions as to where to go. Anywhere in Minnesota/North Dakota near Fargo/Moorhead or Detroit Lakes is preferred. My primary targets would be carp or suckers. Thank you!
