Hunting from the ground is hard. Hunting from the ground by yourself and filming it is really hard. Throw in some freezing cold and a stiff wind. Hat's off to you.

I hunt from the ground a lot. One key thing is to NOT MOVE. Deer are totally geared toward spotting movement. Congrats again on a nice deer!

Oh man glad you got a buck at the end , this year is my first year hunting . Doing it with a recurve and still hunting on the ground is no joke .luckily our Ontario winters been mild so far . Looks like it’s bitter cold out your way ! One thing I’ve learned is expect the unexpected with these whitetail man they are switched on !!! Love your channel brother

I have always ground hunted with a D shaped longbow. I use a ghillie or brush blinds. Shot my deer this year from a thrown together brush blind at 10 feet. Very few deer up here, so I put in miles of scouting. Nice to see you getting a deer the hard way, but fun.
