You all forgot Burt Cooper. That man went two to two with Mercer and Mercedes’ jaw looked like he had a baseball in it. Mercer, Morrison and Moore were my favorite in those days. Bo pissed me off when he threw, I think it was the WBO in the trash and didn’t fight Lewis.

@@GenXautrucity You mean Bert Cooper? And no, I won't forget about Bert Cooper. The man gave Evander Holyfield a good challenge when Mike Tyson pulled out after he suffered a rib injure. Also, Bowe threw the WBC belt in the trash bin, not the WBO.

Remember this one too. What a fight it was. Ruddock was a big dude with a lot power. Morrison didn’t gas in this one, and he was able to eat a lot of Ruddock’s power shots. What an nanny that ref was, jeez - couldn't believe when he jumped in out of nowhere for the standing 8 count. This is probably the most epic fight I've seen. Nanny ref? Wow. Learn boxing and its rules. When my dad referred this fight. My dad wanted to send Ruddock home to his family and children safe! Not in a body bag. Ruddock came off canvas from a one punch devastating knock down. The next knock down was when the ropes prevented Ruddock from going down. That’s in the rule book if ropes prevent a fighter from going down. Lastly Ruddocks head snapping back Dangerous sign! Time to stop fight

I see what you are saying, but right before the stoppage, Ruccock's head whipped back to almost 90 degrees from one of Morrison's punches. Almost every time you see that, they stop the fight. There is a possible neck injury and brain bruising from it hitting the back wall of his skull more violently than from other punches. There was little left but pain and brain damage for Razor. Heavyweight fights are like near death experiences. Seconds can be the difference between temporary and serious permanent injury.

His head gets rocked right back by a left hand less than a second before the ref steps in, having been knocked down by a hard shot (as impressive as his recovery was, for the first couple of seconds after being hit Ruddock was laid flat and nearly motionless on the canvas, he looked out of it) and hammered with plenty of shots for a minute after the knockdown, and most of them were getting through the guard. These dudes were heavy handed Brawlers in an era where the Heavyweight division had so much fierce talent . Either one of these guys would destroy most of todays Top Heavyweights . I don't think AJ or Wilder would stand a chance against these 2 guys in their prime. USYK & Fury would probably give these guys hell they special because they are extremely Skilled & can break down brawlers .

Wtf, Fury would’ve gotten his retarded Arse handed to him. As far as Alphabet no contest. 🤣

Beg to differ. Either Morrison or Razor would absolutely annihilate Fury in his prime..

Crazy how he knocked out the very same opponent that Tyson had so much trouble with during his prime, that just speaks volumes about Tommy's durability and punching power.

People talk about how hard Wilder punches… I think those people forgot about the 1990s. Heavyweights now don’t hold a candle to these guys

That stoppage was premature for sure!!! Razor could have continued and was not badly hurt. Same thing happened in the first fight with and Mike Tyson. Nevertheless, they were both good fighters and they both took a lot of power shots from each other without being KO"d!!!

RAZOR RUDDUCK was rusty & fat after a long layoff before fighting MORRISON . & MORRISON was officially tested for STEROID USE, is why he was so strong in the 90's, & punched so hard as well, But the RUDDOCK who fought MIKE TYSON wouldve destroyed any version of MORRISON,
