I'm glad that kid found someone to love him and that he had the kind of heart that was able to stay open after so much rejection in his life. Being adopted, even under the best circumstances, can leave a lot of kids with feelings of abandonment, and then to be very much abandoned by your adoptive parents at eleven years old must be heartbreaking.

The sons eyes says it all. He’s at peace & truly deeply happy. Peter is going to change the world! This kids life perspective will be unheard of!

As an adoptee myself, this story lets me know that there are actually good foster homes and adoptive parents out there. This young man is very fortunate and you can tell he is grateful and humbled.

As an ex-foster child this made me cry both tears of joy and sadness. I’m so happy he found his forever home but it also reminded me how my mother sabotaged my adoption and changed her mind even though she continued to have very little contact with me until adulthood. Idk what the circumstances were with his adoptive parents doing a safe haven drop but I hope karma gets them good. What a disgusting thing to do to a child that’s was already unwanted and abandoned. Fk them and never think about those people ever again! Congratulations ❤
