What you need to know before buying fins

Doesn't it seem like there's a million different types of surfboard fins available? How do you know which ones are best for you?
I cruised to ET Surf to visit with Daniel Del Castillo to see if he could simplify things.

Daniel Del is a great surfer, and gives a great tutorial here - fins and fin materials are very important

Yah. When I lived in redondo I always went there. I avoided Spyder at all costs.

We rolled up , and waited at the light - N/B PCH and Rustic Cyn. The owner of the surf shop ran in, grab me a fin, and we settled in cash, with perfect timing on the light. In and out - support your local surf shop. Thanks, Brad !

You should have a part 2, go to futures and fcs and learn what they have to say also.

100% i use medium but i weigh 150, best fins for sure...

My realator recommends an intregal, nucular, netural fin.

How's the guy that uses AM2 honeycombs in everything? All the pros use 'em, so, I use them in every condition and in every board. 😂 Dude is missing out...
