My 36" Bradley just came in 2 weeks ago, and you're absolutely right about the wait time due to the pandemic. I was patient and had my heart set on it, so it didn't matter to me. As for un-crating, I unbolted and pull the top, and four corner posts out of the way, unbolted the four locations that held the mower to the bottom frame, and jacked the mower up off the frame base. I then used an electric sawzall with a metal blade to cut the frame base and pull out in two pieces. Then I lower the mower onto a set of 2x6 and roll it off.

I bought the 36" and by chance when we unloaded it from the FedEx truck it was just after a snow storm so we wound up just dropping the frame on the bare ground on the side of the driveway where the snow was cleared. I just tarpped it over until the spring. Fortunately, because of the snowy conditions, the mower frame was laid on bare ground so those standoffs sunk into the soil so the frame and mower wheels were basically flat on the ground this turned out to be great. I was able to just drive the mower directly off of the frame no lifting just remove all fasteners. It couldn't be more perfect. The difficulty comes when the frame is layed on a solid surface. Obviously, you don't need a snowstorm for this to work just wet the soil under the standoffs. the weight does the rest.

Picked up my Bradley at the FedEx depot. Took it out of the crate right there. Had it on my trailer in 45 min tops. Had no issues with cust service or warranty. Good luck.

And your situation you couldn’t do this, but I think when mine gets here I might try to go backwards with it. Slide some boards up under the deck so it doesn’t bottom out raise the deck up and back it off. Do you know what size those bolts and nuts were? I want to be ready. Man I could have saved you a lot of work if you just had it shipped to my address. Looks like a nice heavy duty mower. Just wondering why a stand mower rather than a zero turn that you sit on? Are they typically smaller? Less expensive? Waiting to see it mow. Thanks for sharing.
