I was recently riding my bicycle to work, when out of the blue, i felt a rushing wave sensation from my feet to my brain and then an agonising pop. It immediately dropped me to my knees. Stupidly I thought it was a migrain and stayed home for 2 days , i was sick for at least 28 hours. I went to the hospital had a CT scan. I was then told id had an brain aneurysm. Now when i tell you the headache and pain that i had was like nothing i have ever experienced before and wouldnt wish on anybody. The amazing team at sheffield hallamshire hospital in the uk,, then performed coiling surgery and saved my life. Its now 13 days after surgery and im typing this at home. Head ache is still there but Iam lucky to be alive and at home with my family. God bless you all 🙏❤️🙏

I had a ruptured brain aneurysm two years ago. I didn’t have the typical headache. I had a bad cold and when I blew my nose, I felt an electric bolt strike the top of my head and go down my spine. It took my breath away. I had no idea what had happened, but I knew it was bad so I called 911. I had a flow diverter done through an angiogram and made a quick and complete recovery thanks to the doctors at Baptist Hospital in Miami.

My husband has one burst almost 8 weeks ago. He is still in the hospital. He is not recovering much yet, but it's hard to know with all the sedating meds they are giving him. I am scared to death. My life is upside down. I have no clue of a prognosis. The hospital he happens to be in is not very good at communication. There are so many different nurses and doctors and they all say different things. I'm watching this lecture now hoping to get some insight.

My gf is now in the hospital she had a ruptured aneurysm on sept 8th at work after having a nagging headache for about 2 weeks (we thought it was her b/p raising as she does have an issue with high blood pressure) she said it started in her right temple & it was the worst headache of her life times 100! They done the coiling surgery the next day, and are talking of doing a stent. So far she has no deficits in her scans, no signs of a stroke, she’s up walking around, talking and seems to be ok other than a really bad headache and a stiff neck. I hope I am not getting my hopes up too quick to thinking she is going to be ok. Everyone at the hospital has said she is so lucky! Her sister passed away the day she had her surgery & we spoke with her neurosurgeon before informing her and he said it was too important to not let her know so we told her 2 days after surgery. Of course she was devastated but her family wants to call her while she’s at the hospital and keep talking about the deceased sister and it gets her really upset all over again. Idk how to talk to them about maybe leaving her alone to heal & not stress her too much about it. I’m so afraid they’re gonna cause her to get too stressed
