I'm addicted to gambling, I just lost all my spending money in 4 hours. I literally have no spending money for the next two weeks. I've been this way for like 5 months but I am going to see a therapist for it.

It's my 30 days in Recovery..I've been gambling for the past 6 years.. I'm literally trying to remember how I survived before gambling. I remember making my two week pay check within an hour of playing blackjack ..now I have to make my two week paycheck last. It's driving me crazy but so determined to overcome this disease...The first 20 days was filled with panic attack feeling when ever I think of gambling and the last ten days my brain feel like it's stuck in fight of flight mode...like bracing yourself for an impact but I'm laying in bed typing this right now. Is this normal and when will this stop?

yes-i feel that way to-it gets better after you quit gambling for a couple of weeks-ivhave to have someone keep my$for me so I can't gamble-then I relax a little

I don't have a problem with depositing a lot at a time, but when when I'm up by 10x what I started with, I keep going.

I quit smoking and cut back on drinking. However I love to gamble.
