I personally do not like the 4th and 1 play but with that said, I get why he goes for it. We have got to stop blowing blocking assignments on important plays. Parham whiffed on his critical block on the 4th and 1 play. He makes that block, which he should have, and we get the first down. Last week and the week before had critical blocking assignment misses in both of the final drives when we were trying to push for a FG to win it. The RBs allowed 5 pressures today. The rest of the oline combined allowed 3 pressures. The pass blocking by the RBs is a problem and so is the missed blocking assignments by the TEs and the RBs. Not going to get into the secondary issues. Tuli and Joey on the same side is exciting though.

This is a huge victory for the Chargers, because they won despite the coach trying to give it away again in the 4th quarter. Imagine what the Chargers could be with a good coach and a half decent defense. I wish my Chargers all the best, it is time to put our hands together for coach Staley and pray, so he can figure it out as he ain't going nowhere so no point in crying anymore.

I was one who really pushed for Staley to go, but with a win and the gutsy 4th down call (even though it didnt work) I really believe he can turn this around and coach with confidence. Only time will tell, and these upcoming games will be the true test up to the bye. edit: Also, the benching of JC Jackson by making him a healthy scratch is a bold and good move.

Horrible call at your 24 to go for it. Also declining the holding call at the 36 yard line. Instead of 3 and 16 at the 46. He declines the penalty and Vikings go on 4th and 6.Two plays later they score and take the lead. Staley has no football awareness in real time.

With Austin out, they need to put a fullback in front of Kelly, Dotson, and Spiller. All 3 guys are just one move away from breaking big runs and getting into the secondary. A fullback can provide that.

Any coach can take this roster to the playoffs. He is an awful head coach. Pay attention to the defensive play calls. We get torched by the run because we run nickel every play with 5 dbs on the field and it still doesn’t help in the pass game. This guy needs to get a grip

I’m not blaming the offense. The offense has been competent for the most part and he’s not the playcaller so there’s no credit to be given to him for that. Don’t worry I won’t be switching up. I wanted him fired after the jaguars game. I had a little hope coming into the season because maybe you can blame our disappointing season last year on injuries but he showed that isn’t the case. We have the worst defense in the league with a ridiculous amount of talent on the defensive side of the ball. Our pass and run defense is terrible and he chooses to keep putting 5 dbs out there on 1rst and 10 and 2nd and short which makes no sense. Why would you put an extra db on the field and expect them to plug holes and make plays on RBs that are bigger, more physical, and stronger than them. I have no hope for us this season. Maybe our offense can carry us into the playoffs but I doubt we’ll make any noise with him as our coach. Pay attention to the games and you’ll see what I’m talking about
