I love the life everyone brings to these wonderfully complex characters, and seriously, hats off to 'Greg' for remembering that whole message along with a different set of mannerisms and speech pattern. It's skills like that, that really make this show extra special!

I can't believe we're already at the S3 epilogues... It's like yester...night(?), when Annabelle was draining students left and right, Jasper hated *everyone* , Victor wasn't the "Undisputed Baron of the Valley", and Nelli... well, she was still Nelli, but without as many Ghouls. How far we've come.

I knew i liked Greg. Now seeing how his acting went to eleven, he's my favourite on this series, together with Jasper, Eva and Vannevar.

Nelli had a great development until here, I'm glad. From big badass Morticia to haunted heiress and now multishaded ambitious conspirator. And Greg is nailing it on this existencial rationalization. Some of the best moments were the ghouls outbursting their lack of selfconsiousness. Greg and Ib are both perfect at this.

Greg asked Nelli G on a date for a date night in? That was the most adorable thing. :) I'm so here for it.

I think it's super adorable how Jason is restrained in his portrayal of Abrams' love for Nellie. No passionate make out sessions or intense smooches. Theirs is a more classical, chase kind of love. Very romantic.

I always loved the idea of blood bonds. It makes Kindred and ghoul relationships, not to mention Kindred to Kindred relationships, incredibly complex, codependent, and creepy. Really glad they touched on that subject in this episode.

That switch from Greg to Suzanne was flawless.

For the longest time...Jasper was the most well acted character on this series. However, seeing Gregs acting chops....? He is right on par with Jasper in my opinion. Congrats on getting a very well acted ghoul!

The cast for this series is absolutely amazing. Shows like this have ruined traditional tv for me, and I couldn’t be happier. Jason Carl is an amazing story-teller and a master of his art. Cynthia Marie is so elegant and graceful. B. Dave Walters brings so much enthusiasm to the table. Alex Ward’s ability to tap into something primal, as Jasper, intensifies the riveting narrative. And Erika Ishii’s portrayal of Annabell -like the character or not- is spot on. This series makes my Wednesdays and inspires me to continue to work on my own creative endeavors. 🖤🖤🖤

Gotta say I also love Jason’s portrayal of Baron Abrams. Abrams gives off the air of a smart, classy old fashioned guy, which makes since given he’s quite old. I love his relationship with Nellie too. I can only assume he is setting up Nellie to be Baron in the event he can’t resist the beckoning so that will be interesting to see.

Loving Jason sitting close and chatting with them as Abrams at the beginning of these. Hope he does it in all the epilogues!

That little tangent about the shoes in the magazine got me, such a cute bit of characterization for both these lovely characters

The chemistry between Nelli and Abrams is so great. I can totally understand why they have such a close relationship, seeing Cynthia and Jason playing them as they do. Also, that ending was amazing. Suzanne!Greg took me by surprise. Vince did a really good job portraying that experience.

I swear I love all of the relationships in this series so much, whether they're platonic or romantic they're just so well-acted, they feel real.

Also the brief interlude with the Beast, and of course her beautiful outfit in this one. Really loved this epilogue, I wonder what it will lead to in the next season. ^^

Honestly, I could very easily see Greg turning on the coterie. Considering they killed his team, in a pretty horrific manner I might add, then proceeded to blood bond him into killing even more people in his agency. He’d be pretty justified in wanting more the Inquisition to kill them all. Kind of makes me wish for a Hunter campaign/spin-off like this. LA By Day?

In the age of being PC and concerns over consent, I LOVED this discussion between a ghoul and a kindred. In previous editions, ghouls were purely playthings and blood dolls and servants. There to do as their Mistress commanded. Here they have a voice. Maybe that's due to V5, or giving ghouls actual actors, I don't know. But I'm here for it.

Ha I literally was just commenting the last time we saw Greg about how much of this is him and how much is the blood bond and there they are talking about it. I did think and if was proven right if this episode is anything to go by, Greg really meant what he said when he saved Nelly back when she was staked. That he does honor his commits and deals. Very loyal. I think it would be fascinating if Nellie let him return to being mortal and still work with him. It’s a huge breach of the masquerade and risky due to him being in the inquisition, but it would be interesting to see Nellie give up that magic reassurance and really put her trust in him. Considering how she was manipulated by her sire, how she thought he loved her, used her I think it would be a very appropriate choice for her to make to not do that to Greg when he says he doesn’t like not knowing who he is anymore and how he has her back no matter what. Although letting him be truly mortal again is also risky since surely Fiona is after him. He’s much more useful to Nellie as a mortal than a kindred, even if she seemed to imply wanting to embrace him before. Bot to mention I don’t know if he wants to be kindred considering how freaked out he gets with all the magic going on. Anyway love this character and this relationship and the interesting questions it is bringing up. It’s too bad Nellie can’t ghoul him without the blood bond. Only tremere, clanless(maybe not all of them), and thin bloods can do that. Also lol at Greg just wanting to have a chill date night with Nellie. Nellie certainly is popular. Victor, Abrams, and Greg, and Suzanne too.

LOVE the playing out of the beckoning calling Abrams. Reading the books it kinda left me puzzled how to get this into the game properly (although I totally get why they made that decision for the games sake). Watching Jason Carl play that out actually gave me pretty good ideas for my upcoming V5 chronicle that will be centered around the elders having left and the caitiff, thin-bloods and other cast-outs basically dancing on the tables on what once was a well-run Camarilla holdfast. Until other predators are being lured in by the vacuum and the second inquisition gets interested in neonates running wild in the streets, that is.

This was an exquisite epilogue from start to finish. First, listening to Jason Carl narrating and describing events and environments is so good; I could picture myself in the rose garden with ease! Secondly, Vince Caso has been an instant favourite since he first appeared and here he took it to another level! Third, I love the sense of mystery and intrigue as the plot unfolds and the characters are explored along with it. Last but not least, Cynthia Marie's portrayal of Nelli G adds so many nuances to the character in the way she carries herself, subtle facial expressions etc. She does a wonderful balancing act between being human and relatable without shying away from the darker aspects of what it means being a vampire. I can’t wait to see where her story will go next! :)

I was a bit surprised about how derisive Abrams was of VV. He almost seemed to loathe her, whereas in Bloodlines they had a very strong bond. Or maybe he was simply trying to cozy up to Nelli G's obvious dislike of Velvet, you can never really tell with vampires, especially older ones :D

Well among all the cryptic information and the coterie issues, one thing is clear, Nelly on that red dress doesn't need to use her powers to charm people... haha I am sad because it is almost the end of the season and I hope the next one doesn´t take too long because I need my weekly fix of this show now.
