So happy to see you! Girl, it will be wonderful in the end, but your description is why I went the prosthesis route. I had very young daughters’ at the time, couldn’t take the meds, and chemo was extremely difficult. Every woman chooses what’s right for them. I praise God that He’s right there with you throughout each part of your journey. Just keep us updated when you can, and don’t push yourself.

We talk about all the big things in our family too. The car is the perfect place for it, so much less awkward than face to face. My parenting thoughts on this is it’s better to have 100 1 minute conversation about the tough stuff than 1 100 minute talk. Our children are about the same ages as your’s but we have an extra kiddo who is 12

yes! I miss those times to talk in the car like I had before my son started driving. We still get them in but it definitely has to be more intentional now.

Sorry for your pain…I went through that in 94…I told my family I felt like hub caps were inside me. Since the muscle was split I have amazing flex power ..lol. Hang in there , I too dreaded fill times and working was hard . My first set of implants didn’t seem to match and had to do a redo. Best to you and your family.
