I agree 2200 grafts is so much for such a little area, they gave me 4600 for a much bigger area than his. i think it was a social media move to make his hair look denser than anyone elses considering he is on social media 40 surgeries a day is quite an exaggeration lol i was there last week and there was about 4-6 who had it done in the morning with all separate teams, and I was told there is also teams who do afternoon operation. Im not sure if its new teams or separate ones. The following day was also pretty congruent with how many patients I seen for the follow up wash/laser, I seen 4-6 guys in there with me and i was at the facility for about 1.5 hours at that time and i didn't see anything out of the ordinary. I think max there is maybe 10-12 surgeries a day... to complete more than that would require minimum 3 shifts of 6 different teams working 24/hrs a day (6-8 hrs each surgery).. including translators and other staff.. i dont think that even makes sense, the facility is quite big and nice but its no where near enough to fit that much going on at once.

Is it harder to get a Good HT result when you have larger forehead and more Forehead lines. Brett only have 4 which you see at 3:23 But I have 6 lines and a broad Forehead? My hair is also curly/Wavy so maybe I have more crafts to cover with or what you think?
@fh2234
@fh2234 10 ай бұрын
The HT can only be done on the part where you dont have muscle so. If you prefer hair over a shaved head just look if the forehead has a 1/3 ratio to the lower parts of the face. That it will look symmetrical and aesthetic. 1/3 has to be forehead, 1/3 eyebrow to nostril and 1/3 nostril to chin. For Brett, they lowered his hairline a little too much. His forehead is a little to narrow now. This look is very rare for a caucaasian like him.

@letsgethair
@letsgethair 10 ай бұрын
makes sense to still use medication in case your lateral humps are still preserved. Even if you are a clear NW6 or NW7 with finite baldness pattern, it still makes sense to use fin/min to increase anagen hair ratio in the donor, reverse DUPA (if you have) or retrograde alopecia (if you have) - both affecting the donor's hair. You should at least mmonitor the donor area condition and be ready to hop on some treatments if needed.

Is it possible to do a HT with 10000 grafts to cover top area without finasteride. The big number is to create a full head of hair density and also considering that existing hairs will be gone.

Been considering a transplant to fill in my right temple. It's basically a NW3 where my left temple is only around a NW2 which creates a shit uneven hairline that looks terrible. The front has also recess a bit from baseline but it's an amount I actually don't mind that much, it's just the unevenness that messes it all up and that NW3 right temple. Not sure how much it would cost but it likely wouldn't be a great amount of grafts just to fill in. Also not sure where the best services are in Canada where I live.

Trust me, having a balanced NW3 on both temples isn't any better than having one of them at NW3 and the other at NW2. Frankly, a larger forehead is better than large NW temples. But surely HTs are goated of they're done properly.

The fact that they do 40 transplants a day is very impressive and also very horryfying. From an economic stand point its actually alright to pay like 2000 because if your happy with the result, why should you pay 20000 for a little less risk. You will be able to do a correction in most of the cases. Its still a very difficult decision though because its your fucking face you are letting out of your control.

It’s slightly pluggy at the front but it’s not horrendous and looks good with the long hair. However, I honestly liked his old hairline. It’s such a shame that young men seem to think a normal adult male hairline needs corrected by elective surgery. He’s also wasted graths for potential loss down the future. I’m sure he did the transplant because it was a freebie, he was slightly irritated about not having a straight hairline and knew he’d get a lot of publicity for undertaking a hair transplant as “someone that didn’t need one” 😂

I think he has way too many multi hair grafts toward the front. If he's a blond or part-blond then an experienced FUE doctor needs to take colour-matched nape hairs only for the first 7mm of hairline. No nape hairs have been used to create the hairline which is problematic as the hairs used aren't a good match for him. Hair choice matters and for a blond or ash blond in his case the nape is the only area to get them from using a 0.7mm punch. In addition it's far too straight. When using nape hairs for a blond the hairline must be HIGHLY irregular, with odd single nape hairs placed at random intervals in front of where the "line" commences. These aren't observable to most people but create that soft entry to the hairline. My view he would have been better off being stabilized on finasteride 1mg every other day and lonitan 2.5mg daily, with a once monthly dose of dutasteride if required in case of leakage. If he wanted it lower and once stabilized he should have then considered a scalp advancement which gives infinitely better results than a transplant for hairline advancement.

Specify it to them in the first place. I may need a second HT, so I want to invest my grafts cautiously. Matt had a deep Norwood 5 while Brett had a norwood 2, maybe 2.5. It is absolutely incorrect to compare their results. Obviously, if the problem is only in the hairline, you can easily get norwood 0-1 with almost perfect density.
