ബ്രിട്ടീഷ് കോളനികൾ ആയിരുന്ന ഓസ്ട്രേലിയ, ന്യൂ സീലാൻഡ് , കാനഡ, മലേഷ്യ,etc (commonwealth ) രാജ്യങ്ങളിലേക്കും കുടിയേറുന്നവർ ഏറെയാണ് . സ്വാതന്ത്ര്യം കിട്ടിയെങ്കിലും ആരുടെയൊക്കെയോ അടിമകൾ ആയി നമ്മൾ സ്വന്തം നാട്ടിൽ ജീവിക്കുന്നു .

In UK, they are respected by doctors, patients and also the society. Even after 75 years of independence, India is practicing religious and professional caste system. തിരുവിതാംകൂർ രാജാവ്ഒരു വർഷം കപ്പമായി നല്കിയിരുന്ന തുക 8 ലക്ഷമാണ്. ഇന്നത്തെ കണക്കിൽ അത് 100 കോടിക്കു മേൽ വരും. പക്ഷെ 8 ലക്ഷം രൂപ തിരുവിതാംകൂർ രാജാക്കൻമാർ ഉപയോഗിച്ചിരുന്ന മറ്റൊരു കാര്യമുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. ബ്രാഹ്മണൻമാരെ ജോലി ചെയ്യാതെ ഊട്ടുക. അതാണ് രാജ ഭരണം.

That is a big false assumption...the north and central india was always under one big Empire most of the time Nanda Empire(400 bce),Mauryan Empire 300 bce to 185bce) , shunga Empire,kushan and satavahana Empire , Gupta Empire(400 AD), 3 Empire period( pala,rashtrakuta,pratihara),Harsha, Delhi sultanate ,Mughal Empire, Maratha Empire controlled 70% of present india during British(1759). India is intermediate btw Europe and china not too divided like Europe but not too unitary like china. Because the Indian religion and culture very uniting + culturally india was considered one and all kings aimed to rule all of it was just very difficult.2. the Hindi population(40%) and those who understand it(80%) unites the bulk of india. There is no one single big ethnicity in Europe( 140 mil Russian,90 million German,60 mil french,60 million eng) hence impossible to unite, 95% of china is han Chinese so easy + the south had many kingdoms only in Kerala and rest of the south because of the fall of Vijayanagar in 1565 . Only north and south are the major divisions in india.

The concept of India or Bharat long before we have became independent nation in 1947.If we look at our history, it moves in a cyclical manner, in several majority parts of today's Indian subcontinent came into an uniform rule under Maurayas, Guptas, Marathas etc. The people who invaded our country know about this more than us and we unduly giving them credit to unite us as a nation. It is the sacrifices of our freedom fighters (nationalists, moderates, revolutionaries etc) from different parts of India toiled and earned freedom to us.

So technically we did adopt and use all the major concepts which emerged in Britain like democracy, legislation, draft bill , passing of act (Indian Independence Act) , Legislative representation , infrastructure e.t.c . The system was given to us by Britain only however the difference is the intention of the Britishers, they did not gave it to us Indians to help us in anyway but only for their own country to benefit. These principles were started by Britishers, we adopted them, but also modified them as per the nature of our nation.

It is a no-brainer that, whatever British did in India was for their benefit. Some of it helped us indirectly. But itbis sad that some of it we continue blindly, such as education stsyem. We should look into best methods worldwide and adopt.

If there were no British rule, still those communal riots will happen. Infrastructure and other resources would have ruined due to civil wars. No one in india can make Indian resources to better goods than Britains for sure. Most importantly, the patriotic culture of India was too bad to live for any generation of people and yes, obviously British said it for their own good but that was true. Western culture is liberated than any indian culture lived or yet to happen. With all due respect to freedom fighters, I still think, British rule was one of the best things that happened to India in so many aspects.

Many Indians played a huge role in the world war for Britishers and those many who migrated still feel proud for being a UK Indian. The most wealthy people in UK also included many Indians. The Indians are therefore mostly welcomed with love to UK as we can see
