things that helped me: - eating in regards to my cycle (cycle syncing) - feminine embodiment practices, somatic therapy where i put on a song that makes me feel feminine/sexy and just close my eyes and dance and let my body flow like water (great way to heal your feminine energy as well) - focussing on healthy foods and vegetables and reduce processed foods - Yoga especially hip tension release since a lot of trauma and emotion is stored in women's hips - leaving my phone downstairs when i sleep so i dont go on it when i wake up and before i sleep - cutting out coffee and having matcha instead but only 90min after i wake up and after breakfast - herbal teas - going for afternoon walks to the park while the sun sets - breath work, humming to trigger my parasympathetic nervous system - journaling hope this helps anyone out there! xx

I’m the biggest advocate for walking. It helps with thinking and giving yourself a break from listening to other people. Now, I can be able to feel confident and grounded in my body while I’m walking.

Been divorced for 6 years... the man sleeping next to me was definitely causing the cortisol spike. But now he only triggers it once or twice a year. Joys of co-parenting.

This video honestly makes me want to cry. It’s a reminder of how badly I’ve been treating myself. I’m addicted to stress. Even though I’ve been eating healthier and exercising, I haven’t seen the change I want because I’m chronically stressed. I’m going to pray about this, I need Jesus to help me get to a healthier state❤

What's helped me lately has been getting comfortable with being bored. When I started going to the gym I was really irritable on the treadmill because I had nothing to look at, nothing to do except walk and listen to my music. I went to the park and walked without music (never listen to music while walking in an open space like the park ladies, you will be kidnapped) and I finally got over the boredom thing. It felt kinda good to be bored. Head empty. I think meditation is similar. I'm now addicted to it and I swear it's helping me improve my life so much.

Yes totally agree on everything. All my year at past I did HIIT home workouts and also on calorie deficit which did not do any SHIT just made me puffy and bulked idk why but then i saw one video like a lowkey KZfaqr explaining the science of walking which really intrigued me and then gave it a shot. AS SOON AS 1 week I started to see changes on my bloating and my puffiness and I’ve never turned my back on it. MY body was meant for peace in any form and I’m glad I choose the path of peace physically, emotionally and mentally 🌱

Yes please make a video on how to get 10k steps easily! I struggle with this. Us desk job folks know it’s hard. I went from doing a job where I was walking all day, getting 15k a day, to a sedentary desk job and boom, I put in 60 lbs!!!

Same. I can work from home two days a week fortunately and use a walking pad then and also walk to my desk job, but it’s still not the same 😪 I bought a small drinking bottle so I have to get up multiple times a day to refill to get enough water and go for a quick walk after having lunch

Bria, oh my goodness. I found your channel the other week, and it’s been so illuminating and so supportive. Like really truly helpful and coming from the exact right vibe of person. I’m so incredibly grateful for your content. But today, a cherry on top….when you were talking about stressful workouts with a trainer and yet nothing fits I’m like BROOOOOOO same. Ive been struggling so much post-pill, grief, major stress, gut health problems….ugh. It’s a fkn journey and it’s so comforting to listen to someone who’s recovered from something like that and it’s giving me so much hope. I’m just super grateful for your content and can’t wait for more of it. Thank you ♥️🙏

starting off the week with mother b! oh this is a topic that is so timely bc im unknowingly stressed and I feel my cortisol levels are pretty high. I manage to limit my energy and presence around a toxic person in my current household and immediate family during the beginning of the year, and it has helped out a lot. I also stopped watching drama channels for years now and it is so helpful, really

Great video, and a lot of important info in here but girl that title is everything 👌👌👌and yeah when your cortisol is out of whack or more broadly your whole HPA axis sooo many things can start to go wrong. For me though, it was addressing my gut health and nervous system that had the most positive effect on my cortisol levels (and hormones in general).

Women with fibroids and other hormonal imbalances, this video is gold ! Lowering cortisol is key to healing. But I’m watching this as I literally wrote in my journal I want to love my life because I’m so unhappy in my job 🥲 I also have been on a joy journey and hanging at the park lol and dancing! Yes it’s a somatic release we do this in massage therapy as well. This is so good

for digestive issues btw I suggest drinking kefir? but at the beginning you shouldn't drink a lot of it (like, maybe 1/3 or a large glass or 2/3 of a small glass). it really did wonders for my own personal digestion but since it's fermented i have to make sure i also don't be eating yoghurt or kimchi on the same day haha 😅definitely a staple in my diet though!

Love it. #75Kclub Also had multiple phases of life where I had to mindfully de-tox certain parts of my habits to regain my peace. In addition to ALL the things you mentioned, vitamins and nutrition were also HUGE treatments for me. Everyone here is vitamin D deficient for example. And Vitamin D has huge correlation to depression and mind health. So addressing vitamin balances like that also greatly helps with cortisol balance.

For me it's giving this kindness ok, I got it, I agree 💯 but it's also important to talk about step 2. Step 2 is to not expect the same back. It's problematic for me. Do you also catch yourself with unfulfilled expectations when you give kindness (even when you do not think about receiving)?
