Exactly it is the labourers that do all the heavy lifting and shifting. I used to shift tons of gear as a labourer.but many times over due to putting the sand and cement in the mixer which is once then again wheeling it all in the wheelbarrow, then again where it needed to be put.If you take 1 ton of gear and x that by 3 that's alot of tonnage and that's without all the bricks, slabs etc. TRUE FACT. This is off a UK website. The average cost per 1,000 bricks is £800. Factors such as type of brick, location, supply and demand, and manufacturing process will influence the cost. Bricklayers charge an average day rate of £400 for a team of two. Bloody hell. This guy must lay almost 500 bricks per hour. Fastest bricklayer in the world.

I love when blue collar guys act like their profession is such a hard and intense job, like this video. Bro, you’re laying bricks. I did the same shit for my parents when I was a kid, and it was about this fast and looked just as good. Same goes for welders. Welding isn’t hard. You get a $2000 rig and you can weld some good beads with even an ounce of skill. I’m tired of all these “AMAZING WELDER” or “AWESOME BRICK LAYING” videos that act like performing menial tasks for shit wages is some insane skill.

For everyone talking about how he spreads funny he uses a lesser used technique we call dip and and stick and though it may seem funny when it’s done properly it can be faster then how we all do it. It’s far more ergonomic. You aren’t wasting any time or movements. You’re not walking twenty feet of wall spreading mud just to walk twenty feet back and start laying. The more you know
