Bricklaying - Building pillars all day with just a level.
FORGOT my profiles 🤣🤦 Usually I would have done 4 profiles, but enjoyed using me level all day for a change..😉
Taking your time and making sure things look mint is so important, from this 1 day alone we were able to get another 4 job offers on this 1 road. Probably could have done this ABIT quicker..but no need to rush.

i would build first and last pier then you can pull a line through the length of the wall and run all the piers in course at a time

Very good shout mate, I'll probably try that next time..got another job like this coming up in a few months👌 probably would have done that on this job to be fair.. but just seems like alot of walking about. The first x3 course of the pillars were set like that, so they are all cockon inline and that👌

Don't want brick to push with joint put full joint then dent center with trowel tip. Never leave the front open. Looks like crap if owner or inspector was watching. Extra time to fill and it's never as clean as when to have to repoint. You filled from top and it ran out the joint onto face brick. Average bricklayer should drop 300 in piers like that in 7 hr. excellent bricklayer over 500.
