Im sorry the black casting just takes me out of it. its so unusual -- theres enough similarity with our own medieval european history to draw a balance between familiarity and SUSPENSION OF DISBILIEF for a different world. the black casting breaks the suspension of disbelief - RULE NUMBER 1 in movie making.

Well originally Rhaeny’s had the platinum blond of the targaryens. Then in fire and blood it was changed to black, and now the series has changed it again. Also it’s likely Aemma Arryn would have had black hair in reality. I don’t think it was mentioned in the books. It seems they might have done it on purpose so there could be no question about the parentage.

there's so little of Laena in the books, but I had always had a major crush on her simply because she loved to fly Vhagar (the same reason why i find the original Rhaenys so cool) but once again, HBO did it. they took a character i already loved, and made her even better! this show is turning out to be quite the gift =))

I'm glad I'm not the only one who watches videos specifically because the narrator has a pleasant voice. Although I don't watch this channel for that reason, I have an entire private playlist of videos by various people with soothing voices that I use to fall asleep.

two streams ago, i got a comment saying something along the lines of "hey sweetie. just wanted to say that i love your scripted content, but don't do streams. you are very bad at them" LOL i figured if the stream was that bad, i should probably remove it i had thought this last one was alright, but it had gotten so few views by the time i woke up in the morning. when a video is dead from the start, there's no chance for it to gain views, so i just removed it the video also had very bad audio. im not sure if i was just too far away from my mic, or if the software was accidently using my webcam mic instead of my yeti. either way tho, the audio was terrible, so i just removed it this sunday, im not going to spend 30 minutes getting screenshots. because by then, people are already watching other streams. im just going to go live minutes after the episode ends. hopefully that results in better viewership. also, ill make sure im using the corret microphone settings in hopes of having decent audio *fingers crossed* in other words, ill leave next weeks up for the week

@@bridge4 I fully understand on the difficulty on your bad audio issues and understand if you think a video is dead from the start. However I always like your livestreams when they have been on regardless if I have to watch late at night or the next day. Your scripted stuff is always top notch (Brilliant) but whether people think you’re not so good at livestreams I for one beg to differ. Anyhow mate keep them coming and I apologise it took so long to join the members didn’t even though there was an subscription due to Apple and Google fighting over money. 🤛🏻👍🏻

To me, Rhaenyra's recast is more distracting than Alicent's. I can barely tell that Alicent is different.

Yes absolutely correct. Bridge4 actually knows the material well enough to know that. Must've slipped his mind when making this video. So many people can't get the relationships straight lol... This mistake is more understandable since they are similar ages. I grew up with one of my aunts being around the same age as the rest of us cousins. We generally referred to her as cousin, and reserved the aunt title for being silly, even though we knew she was our aunt, being the much younger sister to our parents.

I just can't think of a favourite this time. There is no Ned or Jon in House of the dragon. Everyone has serious issues in this show. Rhaenyra, Viserys, Alicent, Otto especially Daemon who is a complete phycho and Criston Cole who behaves like a crazy ex boyfriend.

I'm loving Daemon! I was not sure about the casting of Matt Smith but as soon as I saw him in action, I was instantly loving him in the role, & in each episode I'm loving him more & more... I can't really remember how the source material plays out & to be honest, I don't even want to do the research to find out. I'm enjoying the story unfolding every week! It's a great ensemble cast & difficult to pick a favorite, but Daemon steals the scene every time I see him.

Lyonel Strong seems like the only honorable and respectable man without a hidden agenda. But now I'm rooting for the Targaryens, I don't like Otto and his offspring because they're bitter people who try to take what's not theirs...

It's possible she didn't know that the option existed. When Aemma died, the Maester suggested that it was a new treatment from the Citadel. And the Maester (Male Midwife? Doctor? I don't remember seeing the links around his neck but I could be wrong) only gave the option to Daemon, not to Laena.
