Brightest Aftermarket Mower Headlights I Could Find | Step-by-Step Installation

You never realize how often you need headlights until you actually have them. In addition to the obvious early mornings or late evenings, I also find myself using these headlights when loading and unloading equipment (when its hard to get to the light switch in the trailer). Plus if you've every had a flat tire at night...holding your phone and trying to change it (or do anything mechanical or maintenance wise is a royal PAIN!!
I will forever install these lights on every mower I own... The headlights in today's video are going on the our new Wright ZXT 72". This is the second set of these headlights I've bought... The first ones have held up to two years of daily abuse and are still going strong so I didn't see a need to go with anything else!!
In this video I go through step by step instructions on how to do the installation and make it look super clean!!

While you can order this chute blocker on numerous different websites... I prefer to go straight to the manufacture to be 100% certain that I get the EXACT one specified for MY mower. **Some mowers have angled discharge chutes (like the the Ferris Z3X) and come pre-molded to your specific deck.
I submitted an email online at and Dale with GTM Manufacturing (the creator of the Qwikchute) called me same day and got be set up with two brand new blockers and shipped them same day. Two days later I was making the install!

Love the light kit!!! I’m also in the market for my first zero turn and I have it narrowed down to the wright zxt or Ferris isx2200. I’m using a Kubota bx2380 now. Any help about either would be appreciated. Thanks

Wright in my opinion is better than any other brand mower out there…even Ferris (which I also own) They also have a new model out called the ZXL (I think) that is very similar to the zXt. I haven’t used it though.

So I have a simplicity citation zero turn that has headlights from factory but swapped them to a similar led and they failed day one. I think it runs off the regulator vs the battery. Do you think getting a wiring harness and relay right off the battery would fix my issue

I would definitely wire it straight to the battery, but use a relay. It might be that the lights are drawing too much power for the regulator to compensate for because the factory lights are typically pretty dim, which is why you probably opted to replace them in the first place. I’ve got 1500 hours on these lights and over 2500 hours on another side of the exact same lights and they still run Strong
