LEGO Full RC Mod! Technic Dom's Dodge Charger Fast & Furious 42111

Because I was disappointed with the original model, I decided to make a full RC mod of the LEGO Technic Fast & Furious Dom's Dodge Charger 42111 black car. That's right, even the wheelie function got motorized! This is insane, and right here, I show you how I modified this car. Following what I've done, you can even potentially modify your car by yourself. I think my Full RC Mod of the LEGO Technic Fast & Furious Dom's Dodge Charger fixes all the issues I had with the factory; unmodified version of it. Now, this car just became very, very playable! You can play with this car for HOURS, and you won't even get bored. Now that I have done the full RC mod, this set definitely completely meets all the standards of LEGO Technic models. That is, it has Authenticity, Functionality, and Challenging Building.

This is great. Well Done. I like the detail of elastic on the front axel :) I would like to see the instructions. I want to find a way to similar but just using one engine from 42095 for the power and and the the other engine to do the lift.

EKIDREKI you might be able to get the steering and driving function to work, but steering won’t return to center that’s for sure. Also what’s your favorite technic set?

@@Unbrickme yeah it won't be a major problem I only have 3 technic sets ( 42070, 42093 and 42075 ) and so far my favorite set was the 42099 but actually I really do prefer the 42111 🥰🥰

I heard someone made a lego RC car that can jump It has "pistons" on each suspension and when you press on one of the buttons on the controller, the pistons retract and goes back to there not retracted form

No, because all power functions servo motors return to center. They can only be used in steering

XboxLegoGuy it might be too big without severely modifying the interior. If you plan to use an close motor for the driving function you’d need to disassemble the inner chassis

Those three things on the top of the engine is called the carburetor whitch is what controls how much fuel and air is getting used

You’d have to significantly increase the torque with gear ratios for that to work

modify the fake piston engine, and remove the short axle, and place a longer axle there. Then, attach the motor directly to the engine axle

I mean, you don’t even need any parts of there than what you get inside the Charger set besides a couple pegs and L brackets. I showed where to place each motor and as long as you place them in those spots then you’re guaranteed to have a great RC mod

Colm Adams you’d need power functions components, which you can buy on the lego website. At least, one L Motor, one Servo motor, one IR receiver, one battery box, and one remote control. Optional: In addition to the “at least” configuration, one or two power functions lights, a switch or extension cable, an XL motor, and a second infrared receiver. The basic configuration grants you basic RC control, and the optional configuration is the one I had, which has headlights and the wheelie function
