Nightwish is a band you can't really pigeonhole into this is them, they have so many different sounds. If you guys feel inclined one day, you want a soft and beautiful Nightwish, you should really hear Nightwish - Sleeping Sun (Live In Tampere, Finland) 2015. A beautiful song written long ago by Tuomas about a solar eclipse, this version is magical to me.

this is a very beautiful Nightwish song ... thank you for doing this one ... really enjoyed you reaction to this ... made my day .. Nightwish had 3 magical concerts in the space of 2 years ... Wacken 2013 .. Wembley 2015 .. Tampere 2015 .. any song from those 3 concerts are worthy of reaction ..

There are no weak links in the Nightwish chain. But the stars here are obviously Marko and Troy. I sometimes use an E-bow, and believe me, it doesn't sound like what Troy does here. You don't hear finesse like that very often. There is one piece from their home concert at Tampere that is even more stripped back, with Marko taking the stage on his own. I'll leave you to find it, but it is called The Islander.

Hot damn, more Nightwish!. Now this is a band that knows composition inside and out. Tuomas has such a massive bag of musical tricks that he uses, its' near impossible to guess what's coming next. Lyrically, you can tell that he's a poet at heart, and when Marco get's involved, you KNOW it's going to be good. The way they pair Marco and Floor's vocals is something that you simply dont see, they just mesh seamlessly. He may be one of the only singers who can match Floor's power and it's so good to see him in the Floor era because you know he doesn't have to hold back, which you can sense some times in past NW iterations. Thanks for putting another reaction to them out there, I know NW fans never tire of watching them. Nice to see you pick up on Troys using an Ebo there instead of plucking the strings on the guitar, super wild to see for a whole song, just more creativity from these masters.

@Daniel O'Sheig Well, that has to be a first on one of our Nightwish comments, "Hot damn", we like that one!! We have been on a mini journey with Nightwish and had some interesting feedback when we first reatce to them. We could steam right in and do one after the other, but we like to step away and come back and each song we have done has been different, so we have been enjoying each visit. Thanks for the comment and all the information too.

Greetings from Germany. I was imidently curious bout the Channel, you said 'James Hargreaves Guitar'. So i hoped to see some Gary Moore reactions. I saw Gary live in Köln/Cologne/Germany back in 1989. I was a young, naiv Metalhead, sweet sixteen😅, and i didn't believe what i saw and heard this 'night of my life'. ...bout 94 minutes of a mindblowing, natural born genious, melting together with his Guitar. So, sadwise this 'guitar channel' was disapointing, like the fact that actualy Gary's skills on a Guitar is still so underrated, ok, last few months some KZfaqr reacted to him. But in over 1/4 billion reacting videos i've watched, i realy found only bout 14-17 Gary reacting videos...please, maybe you, if you don't have already, give Gary a try. No regreds, trust me..Gary was outstanding in Heavy Metal, Folk Metal and last not least he founded his thing, his 'Blues'. He 'still got it'... R.I.P. Gary.....yes, you want the link, ? @Stefan Stöck Hello and thank you for the comment and all the information. Yes, "James Hargreaves Guitar" is more Brit-Pop era reactions and breaking down songs from Oasis and such groups. Gary Moore, I know very well as my background is more Blues(the one on the right) BP2 the chap on the left BP1 is more your Brit-Po, Oasis, Blur, The Killers and so on, so between us we know quite a lot of bands. On here, we obvioulsy have to try and put out artists and songs that we think people will be interested to watch and we also do a "Metal Monday" section where we pick a Metal band and just try them out and also "Weird & Wonderful Wednesdays" where we try and find something interesting to put out. So we may get to Gary soon on either a Monday or Wednesday. Hope you enjoy the channel and find something that you enjoy too.😅✌

Hi Freunde. Schöne Reaction wieder 👍. The song actually took me a while to like it. It had to grow to my heart first. The official music video helped with that, because it's just really nicely done and I'm not a fan of music videos. But this consisted of edits from the film and told the story. The e-Bow live version I like best. When Marko and Floor sing together, it's simply unbeatable. I don't think anyone out there under the metal sun sings together more harmoniously and so vocally.

@Coyote Guten Abend und danke. 👍. As we are beginning to see, Nightwish really can turn out any style they want and all of them are excellent. This again, was different for us with Marko more the lead singer and we have had suggestions on what else to try from Marko, so we may have a look around at more from him and his other projects. I do like that you do some research to the songs, because every song has a story behind. Tuomas don't just write music, he has to have a story, something that has touched him, a story, a picture, a book...just something. One good example is Shoemaker from the new album, who Shoemaker was, there are now live videos from their concert in Oulu Finland, but the lyric videoa is also great.

Hey Gents i was wondering if you might give a listen to a band out of New Zealand named DevilSkin the song Corode. The lead vocalist has a power pack for a voice i think you will be a fan

@@BritPopsReact you won't get any complaints on more Marco!!! You have literally hundreds of songs to choose from. Northern Kings that he is part of do some great covers, Powerless Trio are another and he also sings lead in a trio made up of his son on drums and his brother on guitar who sound pretty good...I'll shut up now but can't wait to see what you discover :)

They do so many different things. There's a variety all through, but they do evolve over time as well. How you heard Romanticide yet? Definitely some matching vocals action there. "I have never heard anything like this from NW before." - That is a phrase that will keep repeating with each NW song, I'm afraid. :-) May I suggest three songs for the future reactions that are rarely reacted on... Kinslayer, Buenos Aires 2018 - Marco and Floor singing, dark and theatrical, visual theme of the lit candles and 15 candles being blown one by one at the end is there for a reason (song was inspired by the tragic incident at the Columbine school) The Carpenter, Buenos Aires 2018 - Troy and Floor singing, heavy with middle-eastern vibes, Emppu's solo and Troy playing his electric Irish bouzouki Last Of the Wilds, Wacken 2013 - instrumental folk song with Troy playing the pipes and a whistle, Floor is not present and there are no vocals whatsoever (it was used in the middle of Wacken concert so Floor would have time to change her outfit)

@Julianne Warren Hello and thank you for the interesting songs for us to listen to. The first time we reacted to NW, we were pretty much invaded by NW fans and we told to wait for Gabriel. He promptly popped in and gave us a list of songs we should check out. We started by doing some from the list and then decided to try out others songs either because of the comments or information we found. So it is interesting these are not listed. We do like to try things different on here. Lets see where we end up. Thanks for watching.

If you are interested how the NW band members (besides Floor) sound outside NW songs, you can give a listen to some of their other bands or music projects as well.
