For my part, it doesn't really matter if they transformed music, the world, or how people wear their hair since then. I'm just grateful to have their music to accompany me as I become older. I find it difficult to explain why, but the Beatles' music always sounds so new to me, even though I listen to each one more than anything else.

George wrote a bunch of songs that The Beatles didn’t use, so when he started his solo career he already had a collection ready to go. I guess that’s why his first one, “All Things Must Pass” was a triple album .

Yes, George was the Spiritual Beatle. Many people don't realize that because of George western culture was introduced to eastern philosophy, he also help organize the first ever benefit concert with his friend and sitar teacher Ravi Shankar. The Concert of Bangledesh in 1971. He also formed the supergroup The Travelling Wilbury's with some real famous friends. I recommend George's song End Of The Line from them. For a George Solo Career song i recommend What Is Life? Love your Reactions!

That is what made the Beatles, seriously, four incredible young men, who were each very unique arriving in the same place at the same time, as if it was divine intervention. They were everywhere in our lives in the 60's, you could not turn on the radio or tv or read a paper without their presence being front and centre. What a gift they were. Here comes the Sun makes you feel the sun shining on your face as you smile brightly, even to this day, what a classic. RIP George and John, we miss you so

The perfect pop song, the reason the Beatles were the best ever, this song was released 52 years ago, the production still sounds fresh today. I've seen a lot of concerts (Rolling Stones 6 times for example) and that was the best show I ever saw. I'm in Japan and he was joking in Japanese. I mean how many artist have I seen come to Tokyo who can barely manage "arigatou". He was dancing. Playing. Singing. Joking. But what made it even better was he had the whole Beatles catalog to draw from. We kept thinking what's next? Then he says this is for George and goes into "Something" the wife and were crying like babies.

This is simply a beautiful song. Uncomplicated and wonderfully simplistic at the same time. Lennon and McCartney get most of the writing credits but I love the songs that George Harrison wrote. Thanks for reacting to this song.

Back in the 60’s Radio stations would only play short songs around 2 minutes long. It was the Beatles that broke this with some of their longer songs.

I love you guy's I have been a George fan for years of his solo work as well as The Beatles and I love the way you capture the soul of his music as he was a very spiritual person as I now am, I was lucky enough to see him in concert in 1992 I was right at the front and he said 'Hello' to me I remember thinking that's it I can die happy. He was a wonderful human being whom I miss so much but we will always have his music.❤️

"Something" is the second most Beatle's song played on the radio. And it was a George Harrison's creation! '

Paul and John wrote most of the Beatles songs. But George Harrison was an awesome song writer! The band that changed music

George Harrison was a beautiful soul. Don't get me wrong, he wasn't a perfect human being, but he attempted to express his larger spiritual self through his music. There are so many great songs from his first solo LP (All Things Must Pass) that still stand the test of time. Enjoyed the flashback Guys. PS..The story behind the spontaneous birth of this song with Eric Clapton is pure rock and roll legend.

Harrison's songs are the lushest, richest, most gorgeous of any of the Beatles. He emerged from the shadow of Lennon and McCartney into his own sunlight. Check out "All Things Must Pass" - its just stunning.

☀️Leeeedle darlin ☀️ This song always had the magical quality of expressing that first feeling when you know you're in love, luv 💞😘 -- granted, it's about going through a loss of love or a dry spell and then seeing the light and feeling the warmth of new love...but not all songwriters can embrace and hold their listeners like George🌄
