Art, after 52 years of shooting trap loads with my 3" A5 and cycling every last one by hand I discovered that if you set up for heavy loads and just put a little white lithium grease it cycles fine, just remember to wipe it real clean when you go back to the heavy loads or magnum as the rings will not have enough friction and the barrel will slam back way to hard. As a matter of fact I still have the owner's manual and the way you show for the heavy load setup is exactly what my manual shows.

I follow your instruction on a 1950's Belgian A5 12Ga and the result is perfect every time. I did put one of your rebuild kits in it a few years ago as age and use had taken its toll on the springs. Good kit... great result. Enjoy the beets!

Thanks for the videos Art. I have acquired several auto 5's and your tutorials have made it possible for me to make the necessary repairs and maintain them all. Thank you sir for sharing your knowledge.

Thanks for covering this yet again Art! Some, however, might need an additional video in the future, lol!

Art, Thanks again for keeping this info on Brownings design out there for all the newbies that get hold of these fine shotguns. The rebuild kit you sold me for my Remington 11 tamed the recoil that was hard on the gun and harder on my shoulder. The original square section recoil spring was near two inches shorter than the new one in your kit. Same with the action spring behind the bolt. I have noticed quite a few you tube videos on the Rhodesian Brownings with the long forend wood and long magazine tube. Also guys are turning A5's into Rhodesian lookalikes. Watching some of them shoot the guns you can see the recoil is severe. Probably due to the recoil spring being sacked or the friction pieces installed wrong or both. We try to spread the word about your rebuild kits and instructional videos as much as possible. Keep up the good work.

Art, I’ve got a question. The real old Auto 5’s have that deal where you have to keep the bolt release pressed to load, but apparently the later ones don’t. Can one swap out the parts to make the old ones be able to load like the newer ones?

Brother, Is 1oz loads considered light and 1&1/8oz heavy for a 1987 Sweet 16? Thanks!

I inherited an Auto 5 16GA but the 3 regulation rings are missing. Impossible to find any here. In the USA there are a plethora of them but they do not ship outside the USA. What a pity.

Ummmmm? At one stage you forgot what you did 2 seconds beforehand? I hope they don't give you live ammo to play with? 😱🤣

The reason Art is doing this video again, is because so many viewers have already forgotten everything he already taught us in previous vids. They say that the memory is the second thing that goes, the first thing that goes is bladder control :)
