Great video, you've motivated me to get my section 1 and now I'm shooting rabbits at 75 yards absolutely love it. My grandad has shown me how to skin and prepare the rabbit and I really enjoy eating what I shoot. All the best !

I've taken rabbits to 90 yards I use cci mini mags find they suit my brno well I also use a range finder with the strelok Pro app its amazing how much I had to dial the scope in for a shot at that distance

Sam I have just gotten off the phone to my mate who’s just told me of a ban shooting pigeon and crow coming in this Thursday I believe,more bans lol Britain is the home of bans

Yes it will be interesting to see how this plays out. I predict natural England will create some sort of ticket type system. It will turn out essentially the same in the end shooters will just have more red tape to cut through.

I'd love to try my hand at rabbit hunting but I had a pet rabbit as a boy. Anyways, excellent shooting. I bet that subsonic dropped quite a bit at 100 yards.

If you take off the saddle meat then the legs and cut the body in to four pieces up to 4 ribs down from the top you have the joints you need. Then brown them in a frying pan and put them in the slow cooker for a stew.

What ammo type to you use to thump rabbits? Any of the specialized “small game” variety, or match/target for optimal efficiency, or just just regular 40 grain types like Eley, CCI, etc. that we all plink with?

I have experimented over the years but I find regular 40 grain CCI subsonics 1050fps to do the job best.

On my Tikka I have a Schmidt and Bender 6x42 and its around 30 years old, still wasn't cheap! On my T-Bolt it is a MTC mamba lite 1-16x42.

Most bipods mount to the swivel stud that’s there for attaching a sling.

what brand of subsonic ammo are you using Sam? Is it Eley?

No eley subs are too slow for me. I use cci subs 1050fps
