Update for modern houses. We only have stud walls and so my cabinet is between the wall joists crossed bolted through them. Obviosuly i had to cut the plaster board etc to fit the cabinet and then also drill additional in the sides of the cabinet. Its installed with 10 lag bolts and itll hold 2 people easily. The only brick we have is the external walls front and rear and the FAO wasnt happy with those walls. Its painted and and got a trim peice so you cant even really see it. The only issue now is that I need a bigger cabinet! 🤣

Get some better shooting rests ,ì put a 4 to 12 leupold on mine and im shooting .560 in groups at 100 yds with 100 grn honady factory ammo

You’re the only person I’ve seen in the UK shooting community who actually sees firearms as what they are first and foremost, tools for self protection. Most people I’ve spoken to who own guns in the UK were just country bumpkins who think firearms are just toys to shoot pigeons or break clay discs with. If there were more people like you in the UK shooting community it would probably be way more diverse, practical and popular than the Fudd-fest it currently is.

I always picture the gif of Mutahar laughing when I see UK legal handguns. They’re just so silly looking and remind me that I should go to ranges abroad instead of wasting my time shooting in the UK.

I was told the tbolts match chamber is too tight for the longer brass on the stingers, if you try them it would be interesting to see how you get on as I was told they are no good in the Browning T-Bolt

The Jard trigger can decrease accuracy a bit due to not making good contact on the back of the action. The stock trigger pack provides a nice large area to contact the stock and the Jard definitely does not. A couple Jard owners have noticed this

Have a 12g auto 2+1 just bought never fired a shotgun before i have 71/2 28grm cartridges,and 36grm eley alphamax+ bbs size #0 70mm shels what size chokes should i use for both cartridges ,its says use max 900 bar cartridges in the manual what ever that means any advise would be great for a newbie will be mostly shooting clay Pigeons or the odd fox👍

We just don't hear about it because the media is demonising police all over Western nations. The perception of police by the public is terrifyingand it's mostly to do with the focus on the bad the media drives into people. It looks great what your donig but I feel more comfortable at night because the dog walkers and hikers usung theyre right to roam and complainers tend to be at home inside none the wiser, also farmers working etc. But definitely like your logic, foxing being treated more like stalking and selective deer management. Like you say, we dont wamt to wipe them out, there wont be any to shoot next year otherwise 😂

Shouldn`t the first shots be done on the shooting range instead of hunting instantly? I mean what if the gun do not work as you expect and you just hurt animals instead of killing them?

I wonder if going a choke size tighter with fibre might produce a pattern similar to that achieved with plastic, or would it just produce more deformation? Personally I think I would have a better chance of hitting something with your fibre pattern than the tighter plastic one!
